How to Migrate from InkFrog to 3Dsellers (Complete Guide)

Learn how to migrate from InkFrog to 3Dsellers, including how to transfer listings, safely host images, manage templates, and understand pricing and features.

Written by Karolina Santiago

Moving from InkFrog to 3Dsellers is straightforward, and this guide will walk you through the most important parts of the process — especially images, templates, and pricing, which are the most common concerns.

Here is a quick summary of everything you need to know:

📸 Images & Hosting (Most Important)

If your eBay listings currently use images hosted through Inkfrog or another third-party hosting service, you can easily save those images into your 3Dsellers Image Hosting library in bulk.

Once imported, the images can be:

  • reused in future listings

  • quickly found by SKU in the image gallery

  • automatically assigned to drafts in bulk using SKU matching

This makes migrating away from Inkfrog much easier while keeping your existing listing photos organized inside 3Dsellers.

Step 1 — Save Existing eBay Listing Images to Your 3Dsellers Image Library

  1. Go to Listings & Products → Active Listings

  2. Select the listings you want to import images from

  3. Click Bulk Actions

  4. Select Save Images to Library

A confirmation window will appear before the images are imported.

How image naming works

  • Saved images will use the SKU as the file name, or the listing title if the SKU does not exist.

  • The SKU is also automatically assigned to the hosted images for easier searching and bulk image assignment later.

  • All imported images become available inside:
    Listing Manager → Image Hosting

Step 2 — Locate Imported Images by SKU

After the images are imported, they will appear inside your 3Dsellers Image Hosting library with the SKU attached to them.

This allows you to quickly search and locate product images later when creating or editing listings.

Step 3 — Reuse Images When Creating New Listings

When creating or editing listings, the system will show you a list of images with matching SKU that you can just click to select, or you can simply search by SKU inside the image gallery to instantly locate the imported images.

This is especially useful when rebuilding listings after migrating from Inkfrog.

Step 4 — Automatically Assign Images to Draft Listings in Bulk

Once your hosted images contain matching SKUs, you can automatically assign those images to 3Dsellers draft listings in bulk.

To auto-assign images:

  1. Go to 3Dsellers Drafts

  2. Select your draft listings

  3. Click Bulk Actions

  4. Choose Auto image assign

3Dsellers will automatically match hosted images to draft listings when:

  • the draft SKU matches the SKU assigned to the hosted images

This dramatically speeds up large catalog migrations from Inkfrog to 3Dsellers.

Important Notes

  • Only images currently active in the eBay listing can be imported

  • The original Inkfrog account is not required if the images are still accessible through eBay

  • SKU-based image matching works best when your listings already contain consistent SKUs

  • Imported images remain stored inside your 3Dsellers Image Hosting library for future use

  • Bulk Auto Image assign is only available for drafts.

✅ Recommended Step (Very Important)

To make sure your listing data and product images remain safely stored long-term after migrating from Inkfrog, we strongly recommend copying your active eBay listings into 3Dsellers Drafts.

This step helps preserve:

  • your listing data

  • titles and descriptions

  • item specifics

  • product images

even if your Inkfrog account or external image hosting becomes unavailable later.

To do this:

  1. Select your active listings

  2. Click Bulk Actions

  3. Choose Copy to 3Dsellers Drafts

Product images are automatically saved to 3Dsellers image hosting when listings are copied to drafts, so no additional image hosting option needs to be enabled.

This ensures your listings and images remain safely stored inside your 3Dsellers account indefinitely.

🔹 If listings are ONLY in InkFrog (not live on eBay)

These are like drafts and need to be migrated manually:

Steps:

  1. Export listings from InkFrog as a CSV file

  2. Import them into 3Dsellers

  3. During the upload, the system is designed to automatically detect Inkfrog CSV files.

🔁 Bonus: Easily Copy Listings Between eBay Accounts

Once listings are in Drafts, you can:

👉 Copy them to other eBay accounts easily

🎨 Listing Templates & Design

🔹 Using AI to Clean Up InkFrog Templates from Descriptions

If your listings were created in InkFrog, they likely include HTML-based design templates inside the description.

Before applying new designs in 3Dsellers, we recommend using:

👉 AI → Description Cleanup to Simple Text

This will:

  • Remove InkFrog template code

  • Strip the listing down to clean product text

  • Eliminate old formatting, policies, and styling

Why this is important:

  • Prevents conflicts with new templates

  • Ensures clean, consistent listings

  • Makes it easier to apply 3Dsellers Listing Designer

This helps you fully transition away from InkFrog formatting and start fresh with optimized listings.

🔹 Using your existing InkFrog templates

You can still use them:

🔹 AI Template Converter (Fastest Migration Option)

We now offer an AI Template Converter that can automatically convert existing eBay listing pages or templates into a fully compatible 3Dsellers HTML template with dynamic fields.

Instead of manually rebuilding your old InkFrog templates, you can now:

  • Paste an eBay listing URL

  • Paste an eBay item ID

  • Or paste any public product page URL

The AI will analyze the page and generate a clean 3Dsellers-compatible HTML template automatically.

This helps you:

  • Recreate old InkFrog-style templates much faster

  • Convert legacy HTML into editable 3Dsellers templates

  • Automatically insert dynamic placeholders like:

    • {{title}}

    • {{description}}

    • {{image[0]}}

    • and more

Once created, the template can be applied in bulk to your listings directly from the Listings page.

💡 This is currently the easiest way for former InkFrog users to rebuild and modernize their old templates inside 3Dsellers.

🔹 Using 3Dsellers Listing Designer

We offer a built-in template editor:

🔹 Removing old third-party templates (recommended)

To avoid conflicts:

🔹 Custom HTML templates
