Troubleshooting: Catalog price or quantity changes (CSV, manual, or bulk) aren't updating on my channel

If price or quantity changes you made in 3Dsellers (by CSV, manual entry, or bulk) aren't showing on eBay or Shopify, it's usually not a bug. Learn how to push them and how the per-channel Price Sync and Inventory sync settings work.

Short answer

If a price or quantity change you made in 3Dsellers (by CSV upload, manual entry, or a bulk action) is not showing on your sales channel, this is usually not a bug. The change is saved correctly in 3Dsellers; it just needs to reach the channel. Push it with a revise (Bulk Actions → Revise Listings Price for price, or Bulk Actions → Revise Listings Inventory for quantity). Whether that reaches the channel depends on that channel's sync settings, so it is worth checking them before treating it as a bug.

What's actually happening

A CSV import (or a manual/bulk edit) can report "successful" and correctly update the price in your Catalog or the quantity in your inventory, while the listing on eBay or Shopify still shows the old value. That is because updating 3Dsellers and pushing the value to a sales channel are two separate steps. The value reaches the channel in one of two ways:

  • Manually - you run a revise (Bulk Actions → Revise Listings Price, or Revise Listings Inventory).

  • Automatically - the channel's sync setting for that value (Price Sync, or Inventory updates) is turned on, so changes are sent on their own.

In both cases, whether the value actually updates on a given channel is governed by that channel's sync settings (see below).

Fastest fix: push the change you already made

Your values are already correct in 3Dsellers, so you just need to send them to the channel:

  1. In the Catalog, select the products.

  2. Use Bulk Actions → Revise Listings Price (for price) or Bulk Actions → Revise Listings Inventory (for quantity).

Whether this updates the channel depends on that channel's sync settings, so make sure the matching setting is enabled for the store (see below) before revising.

Where price and quantity syncing is controlled

Each setting lives per channel, under Integrations → select the channel. Because they are per channel, they can differ from one store to the next, so check each store you are updating.

Price - in the Price Sync section:

  • Must be set to "Update the products price on [your channel]" (not "Don't update the products price...").

  • Applies to price changes made in the Catalog by CSV upload or manual entry.

  • Optional toggle: "Update the products price for unlinked listings" - enable it if you want price changes to reach unlinked listings too.

Quantity - in the Inventory Updates from Products Changes section:

  • Must be set to "Update the products quantity on [your channel]" (not "Don't update the products quantity...").

  • Applies to quantity changes made in Inventory Management by CSV upload, bulk action, manual entry, or when an order is received.

  • Optional toggle: "Update the products quantity for unlinked listings" - enable it if you want quantity changes to reach unlinked listings too.

  • Note: enabling this setting does not push anything on its own - the quantity is only sent when a change actually happens (a CSV upload, bulk action, manual entry, or received order).

In both sections, by default only linked listings are updated; the "unlinked listings" toggle extends it to unlinked ones.

Important note about the "successful" message

A CSV import can show "completed successfully" even when the channel still shows the old price or quantity. "Successful" means the file was processed into 3Dsellers, not that the channel was updated. So a successful import plus an unchanged channel value almost always means the value needs to be revised (pushed), or that the matching sync setting is off - not a failed import.

How to avoid this going forward

  • After a price or quantity change, run the matching revise (Revise Listings Price / Revise Listings Inventory) to push it, or keep the channel's Price Sync and Inventory updates settings enabled so it happens automatically.

  • Remember each store has its own settings - check the store you are actually updating.

  • Keep products linked to their channels, or enable the relevant "update for unlinked listings" toggle if you work with unlinked listings.

  • To see the change reflected in the Listing Tool table, use Import → Re-import listing from eBay there, since that table is a saved snapshot and does not pull live data.
