3Dsellers is designed to be your central hub for managing product content across all your sales channels. Understanding how data flows between your channels and 3Dsellers — both the Listings Tool and the Product Catalog — will help you avoid confusion and keep everything in sync.
The Core Concept: 3Dsellers is designed to be the Source of Truth
Changes you make inside 3Dsellers flow out to your sales channels. This is a one-directional sync by default:
3Dsellers (Listings Tool / Catalog) → Sales Channels
💡 Best practice: Always make content changes from within 3Dsellers when possible. That way updates flow automatically to all your linked channels without extra steps.
Changes Made Directly on a Channel Are NOT Automatically Pulled In
If you edit a listing directly on a marketplace — for example, updating images or bullet points on Amazon, or changing a title on eBay — those changes are not automatically reflected in 3Dsellers.
This applies to both the Listings Tool and the Product Catalog:
Listings Tool — stores a local copy of your listing data. It does not update in real time when you change something on a channel. Your 3Dsellers Listings Tool will show outdated data until you manually run a sync.
Product Catalog — keeps the data from the last time that product was imported or updated within 3Dsellers. It does not pull changes from the channel automatically.
This means:
Your Listings Tool may show old inventory, price, or title data if you've edited directly on the channel
Your Catalog may be out of date if you've been editing listings directly on the channel
If you run a bulk revise from the Catalog, it may overwrite your channel edits with older Catalog data
Other connected channels (e.g. eBay, Walmart, Shopify) will not receive those channel-side changes automatically
Step 1 — Re-sync the Listing in the Listings Tool
Before updating the Catalog, you first need to pull the latest data from the channel into the Listings Tool using the Reimport Listings button.
eBay has two sync modes:
Quick Sync — updates inventory, price, SKU, and any new listings created on eBay. Available every 10 minutes. This is the sync most users run regularly.
Full Sync — a deep refresh that also pulls title, description, images, policies, categories, and item specifics. Available once per month. Use this when content fields look outdated.
All other channels (Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Etsy, etc.) have Full Sync only — this pulls all listing data including content fields.
⚠️ Syncing does not run automatically — you must trigger it manually.
Step 2 — Re-import to the Product Catalog (with Override)
Once the Listings Tool has fresh data, you need to push it into the Catalog. Go to the Listings Tool, select the updated listings, and use Bulk Actions → Import Products to Catalog:
With the "Override existing product with newly imported data" option enabled.
⚠️ Without enabling "Override existing product data", the Catalog will skip products that already exist and keep the old data in place.

Step 3 — Push Updates to Other Channels
Once the Catalog has the updated data, you can push it to your other connected channels. Go to the Catalog, select the updated products, and use Bulk Actions → Revise Product Listings to push the changes to eBay, Walmart, Shopify, etc.

What Does Sync Automatically
Certain data flows automatically between your channels and 3Dsellers, depending on your channel settings:
Orders → Catalog inventory — when an order is received on any channel, the Catalog stock is reduced automatically (if enabled in channel settings)
Catalog price changes → Channel listings — if price sync is enabled, changing a price in the Catalog pushes it to linked listings automatically
Catalog inventory changes → Channel listings — if inventory sync is enabled, stock updates in the Catalog push to linked listings automatically
Linked vs. Unlinked Listings
How data flows also depends on whether a listing is linked or unlinked to a Catalog product:
Linked — the listing is controlled by the Catalog. Changes in the Catalog can update the listing automatically or via bulk revise.
Unlinked — the listing is independent. Catalog changes do not affect it (though inventory may still sync depending on your settings).
Quick Reference Summary
Scenario | What happens |
You edit a product in 3Dsellers (Listings Tool or Catalog) | Can push to all linked channel listings via bulk revise or automatically via sync settings |
You edit a listing directly on Amazon, eBay, etc. | Change stays on that channel only — Listings Tool and Catalog are NOT updated automatically |
You want channel changes in the Listings Tool (eBay) | Run Quick Sync (inventory/price/SKU) or Full Sync (title/description/images/etc.) |
You want channel changes in the Listings Tool (other channels) | Run Full Sync to pull all listing data |
You want channel changes reflected in the Catalog | Re-sync listing → re-import to Catalog with Override enabled |
You want Catalog changes pushed to all channels | Use Bulk Actions → Revise Product Listings, or rely on automatic sync settings |
An order is received on any channel | Catalog inventory is reduced automatically (if order sync is enabled in the channel settings) |
