The Catalog is the central place where you manage your product data in 3Dsellers.
Bulk revision is how you push that data to your live listings on channels like eBay.
Understanding how updates work comes down to three key things:
Whether a listing is linked or unlinked
Which bulk action you choose
Your integration (catalog) settings
Where to Find Bulk Listing Revisions
In Catalog → select products → Bulk Actions → Listings, you’ll find:
Revise Product Listings
Updates listing content (title, description, item specifics, etc.)Revise Listings Inventory
Updates quantityRevise Listings Price
Updates priceLink / Unlink Products from Listings
Controls whether a catalog product is connected to a listing
👉 Important:
Changes you make in the Catalog are always followed by a confirmation popup, where you choose whether to update listings or not.
How Catalog Edits Trigger Listing Updates
Whenever you edit products in the Catalog (either individually or in bulk), 3Dsellers gives you full control over what happens next.
After making changes (price, title, attributes, etc.), a Save / Update dialog appears.
You can choose:
Save to catalog only
Updates the product inside 3Dsellers
Does not update any listings
Save to catalog and update listings
Updates the catalog
Immediately revises the selected linked listings
Applies changes based on your channel settings
👉 This applies to both:
Single product edits
Bulk edits (like Edit Attributes)
Link vs. Unlink (Core Concept)
This is the most important concept for understanding how updates work.

Understanding Linked and Unlinked Listings
🔗 Link
When a product is linked to a listing:
Changes made in 3Dsellers products will update all linked listings.
Bulk revise actions will update the listing
Catalog edits can update listings (when you choose to do so)
Integration settings can automate updates
Keeps data consistent across channels
🔓 Unlink
When a product is unlinked:
Changes made in 3Dsellers products will not update unlinked listings.
The listing becomes independent
Catalog changes will not affect it
Bulk revise actions will ignore it by default
Useful for channel-specific customization
⚠️ Note: Inventory may still sync based on your inventory settings, even if a listing is unlinked
Quick Comparison
| Linked Listings | Unlinked Listings |
Bulk revise | ✅ Updates apply | ❌ Ignored by default |
Catalog edits | ✅ Can update (if selected) | ❌ No effect |
Integration sync | ✅ Can apply | ❌ Usually blocked |
Control level | Centralized | Independent |
Including Unlinked Listings in Bulk Actions
When running a bulk revise, you may see a confirmation popup like:
“Update Linked Listings by Mapping Template”
It will show:
How many linked listings will be updated
That unlinked listings are excluded
You may also see an option:
✔ “Revise unlinked listings”
👉 If enabled:
Unlinked listings will also be updated
This overrides the default behavior for that action only
Mapping Templates (How Data Is Applied)
Bulk updates use mapping templates to control how your catalog data is applied to listings.

Product Catalog Channel Template Mapping Explained
Mapping templates:
Map catalog fields (title, price, attributes, etc.) to channel fields
Ensure listings meet marketplace requirements
Allow different setups per channel (eBay, Amazon, etc.)
They automatically take your catalog data and send it to the correct fields on each marketplace listing
Catalog & Channel Settings (Automatic Updates)
In addition to manual bulk actions, channel settings control automatic updates between your catalog and channels.
👉 Learn more here:
Catalog Channel Settings (How Automatic Updates Work)
Example (eBay):
Price Sync
Automatically update listing prices when catalog price changes
Option to include unlinked listings
Inventory Sync
Automatically update quantity when catalog stock changes
Option to include unlinked listings
Order Sync
Reduce catalog stock when orders are received
Key Insight
Bulk actions and integration settings follow the same logic:
Linked listings → updates apply
Unlinked listings → updates do not apply (unless explicitly allowed)
How It All Works Together
Here’s a simple workflow:
Edit products in Catalog
(price, quantity, title, attributes, etc.)Choose what happens in the popup
Save only to catalog
Or save and update listings
Make sure listings are linked
Link = controlled by catalog
Unlink = independent listing
Use Bulk Actions when needed
Full revise (all data)
Price only
Inventory only
Check confirmation dialogs
Review how many listings will update
Decide whether to include unlinked listings
Review channel settings
Ensure automatic updates behave as expected
Final Takeaway
Everything revolves around one simple rule:
👉 Link = Catalog controls the listing
👉 Unlink = Listing is independent
And every time you make a change, you’re in control:
👉 You decide whether to push updates to listings — immediately, later, or not at all.
