📌 Where to Find AI Actions

  1. Go to Products Catalog

  2. Select one or more products (checkboxes)

  3. In the top action bar, click the AI dropdown

  4. Choose the action you want to run

Available actions:

  • Generate Titles

  • Generate Descriptions

  • Generate Bullet Points

  • Image Background Removal

  • Image Resize

  • AI Custom Prompt

Tip: You can select many products at once. The UI will show how many items are selected (example: “20 selected products”).


AI Actions Available (What Each One Does)

1) Generate Titles

Creates optimized, SEO-friendly product titles based on your existing catalog data.

Best for: Improving search visibility and making titles consistent.

Common settings: Max length (ex: 80 chars), language, save destination.

Saves to: Product Property / Product Title (or a selected field)


2) Generate Descriptions

Creates detailed product descriptions optimized for marketplaces.

Best for: Enhancing product pages and improving conversion.

Common settings: Length, language, tone (Professional, Friendly, etc.).

Saves to: Product Property / Description (or selected field)


3) Generate Bullet Points

Creates concise bullet points that summarize key product features and benefits.

Best for: Amazon-style bullet formatting and quick scanning.

Common settings: Bullet length, language, tone, number of bullet fields (up to 5).

Saves to: Bullet Point 1–5 properties (or chosen attributes)


4) AI Custom Prompt (Generate Any Attribute Value)

Lets you write your own prompt to generate content for any Product Property or Custom Attribute.

Best for: Meta descriptions, product highlights, warranty text, fitment notes, etc.

Key feature: Insert dynamic fields like Title, Brand, Description, etc.

Saves to: Any selected Product Property or Custom Attribute


5) AI Image Background Removal

Removes the background from product images using AI.

Best for: Cleaner images for marketplaces and websites.

Options: Main image only or all images + include variation images.

Result: Replaces the current image(s) with background-removed versions.

⚠️ Note: This overrides existing images. If needed, back up originals first.


6) AI Image Resize

Resizes images to meet marketplace requirements while preserving quality.

Best for: Standardizing image sizes (ex: 1600×1600).

Options: Main image only or all images + include variations.

Result: Replaces current images with resized versions.


How to Use Each AI Action (Step-by-Step)

A) Generate Product Titles

  1. Select products in Products Catalog

  2. Click AI → Generate Titles

  3. Choose:

    • Title length (example: up to 80 characters)

    • Language

    • Save destination (default: Product Title)

  4. Optional:

    • Add tags after approval

    • Include variations

  5. Review the credit cost

  6. Click Generate with AI

  7. Approve results in AI Approvals (unless you skipped approval)


B) Generate Product Descriptions

  1. Select products

  2. Click AI → Generate Descriptions

  3. Choose:

    • Length

    • Language

    • Tone (Formal / Professional / Friendly)

    • Save destination (default: Description)

  4. Optional: Include variations, add tags

  5. Click Generate with AI

  6. Approve in AI Approvals if needed

C) Generate Bullet Points

  1. Select products

  2. Click AI → Generate Bullet Points

  3. Choose:

    • Length

    • Language

    • Tone

  4. Confirm where each bullet will be saved:

    • Bullet Point 1 → destination

    • Bullet Point 2 → destination

    • … up to Bullet Point 5

  5. Click Generate with AI

  6. Approve in AI Approvals if needed


D) Generate Any Attribute Value (AI Custom Prompt)

  1. Select products in Products Catalog

  2. Click AI → AI Custom Prompt

  3. Write your prompt (this tells the AI what to generate)

  4. Insert dynamic fields (optional but highly recommended)
    Examples:

    • Product Title

    • Description

    • Brand

    • Condition

    • Bullet Points, etc.

  5. Save your prompt as a template (preset) (optional)
    If you plan to reuse the same prompt later:

    • Click Save Prompt as Preset

    • Give it a name (example: “SEO Meta Description - 150 chars”)

    Next time, you can select it from Prompt Presets instead of writing it again.

  6. Choose Save AI Output To
    Select any Product Property or Custom Attribute where the result should be saved.

  7. Optional settings:

    • Preview output for the first product (costs 1 credit)

    • Only update empty attributes

    • Include variations

    • Add tags after approval

  8. Choose save behavior:

    • Save changes to Catalog only

    • Save changes to Catalog and revise linked listings (recommended when you want updates pushed live)

  9. Click Generate with AI

  10. Approve results in AI Approvals (if approval workflow is enabled)


E) AI Image Background Removal

  1. Select products with images

  2. Click AI → Image Background Removal

  3. Choose which images to process:

    • Main images only

    • All images

  4. Optional: Include variation images (extra credit usage)

  5. Choose save behavior:

    • Catalog only

    • Catalog + revise linked listings

  6. Review cost (typically 10 credits per image)

  7. Click Apply


F) AI Image Resize

  1. Select products

  2. Click AI → Image Resize

  3. Choose:

    • Main images only or all images

    • Target size (ex: 1600×1600)

  4. Optional: Include variation images (extra credit usage)

  5. Review cost (typically 10 credits per image)

  6. Click Apply


Understanding AI Credits

AI actions use credits. Each modal shows:

  • Remaining AI Credits

  • Total cost for selected products/images

Typical Credit Costs

  • Generate Titles: 1 credit per product

  • Generate Descriptions: 1 credit per product

  • Generate Bullet Points: 1 credit per product

  • AI Custom Prompt: 1 credit per product (Preview costs 1 credit)

  • Image Background Removal: 10 credits per image

  • Image Resize: 10 credits per image

AI Approval Workflow (Review Before Applying)

By default, generated content is sent to AI Approvals first.

Standard Flow

  1. Run an AI action

  2. Go to AI Approvals (badge shows pending items)

  3. Review output

  4. Approve or reject individually or in bulk

  5. Approved items are applied to the Catalog automatically once you click to Apply Approved Actions

Skip AI Approval (Apply Instantly)

If you want to apply changes immediately:

  • Check Skip AI approval

  • Generated content is saved instantly (no review step)


Tip: Start with approvals on for the first batches. Once you trust the output, use Skip Approval for speed.


Best Practices

Before generating content

  • Make sure product data is complete (title/brand/category/description)

  • Start with a small batch (5–10 products)

  • Confirm the save destination is correct

  • Check your credit balance

While generating

  • Group similar products for more consistent results

  • Match language to the marketplace region

  • Choose tone that matches your brand voice

  • Use Preview for custom prompts

After generating

  • Review output (especially for important products)

  • Confirm content saved to the correct fields

  • If you chose “Catalog + revise linked listings,” verify listings updated as expected

For image actions

  • Test on a few products first

  • Consider backing up original images (actions overwrite current images)

Troubleshooting

AI generation fails

  • Ensure products have enough data (title/brand/category/description)

  • Check AI credits

  • Reduce batch size and try again

  • Review any on-screen error messages

Output quality isn’t good

  • Improve input product data

  • Adjust tone/length

  • Use approvals and manually tweak key listings

  • For Custom Prompts: make the prompt more specific and include dynamic fields

Content not saving

  • Verify save destination exists and is editable

  • If approvals are enabled, confirm items were approved

Images didn’t process correctly

  • Confirm image format (JPG/PNG)

  • Test a smaller batch

  • Verify enough credits
