To set where an eBay item is located in 3Dsellers, open the listing editor, go to the Shipping and Policies tab and fill in the Location: block. Pick one of your Saved Locations, or type the Country, City,State and Zip code (optional) yourself. eBay uses the item location to estimate delivery dates for buyers.

What the 3Dsellers item location block does
It sets the item location of one eBay listing: country, city and state, and an optional zip code.
It lets you reuse a location you saved before, so you do not type the same address on every listing.
It manages the list of saved locations in the Manage Locations dialog: add a location or delete one.
Saved locations are the warehouses of your 3Dsellers Product Catalog, described in Multi-Warehouse Feature (Catalog) – How It Works.
Find the Location block in the 3Dsellers listing editor
Open a listing in Listings Manager, or click Create Listing and choose Create Listing Manually.
In the editor, click the Shipping and Policies tab.
Scroll past Business Policies: to the Location: block.
These steps and pictures use the editor's Old View. The policy dropdowns above the block are explained in eBay Business Policies: Create, Edit and Apply in 3Dsellers.
Use a saved location on an eBay listing
In the Location: block, click Saved Locations (“Select location”).
Pick a location from the list. 3Dsellers copies its country, city and zip code into Country, City,State and Zip code (optional). A field the saved location leaves empty keeps what it had before.
Save the listing, or update it if it is already live on eBay.
While a saved location is picked, the Country, City,State and Zip code (optional) fields are greyed out and you cannot type in them. Clear the Saved Locations field to type in them again.
Type the item location yourself
Leave Saved Locations empty, choose the Country from its list, type the City,State, and add a Zip code (optional) if you want one. Then save or update the listing.
Add or delete saved locations in 3Dsellers
Click Manage Saved Locations next to the Saved Locations field. The Manage Locations dialog lists every saved location with its Name, Country, City, State, Zip Code and Products Count.
Add a saved location
In Manage Locations, click Add Location.
Type a Name, or tick Use Generated Name to name the location after its country, city and zip code.
Choose the Country and type the City. Fill in any other fields you need: Contact Name (the dialog asks for a first and last name), Company Name, Email, Phone Number, Address, Address 2, State (shown for countries that have states) and Zip Code.
Click Add. The new location appears in the table.
Add stays greyed out until the Name (or Use Generated Name), Country and City are filled in. If you type a name with spaces or characters other than letters, numbers and underscores (_), or a name another saved location already uses, a message appears under the Name field. Fix the name before you click Add.
Delete a saved location
Click the trash icon in the Actions column of the location's row. Because saved locations are your Catalog warehouses, deleting one removes that warehouse from your Product Catalog too.
⚠️ A saved location that still has products cannot be deleted. Its trash icon is greyed out, and only locations with a Products Count of 0 can be deleted.
eBay listings that show Inventory Locations instead
Some listings show a single Inventory Locations field in the Location: block instead of saved locations. It lists the eBay inventory locations 3Dsellers loads for the listing's eBay account and eBay site. Pick one and save the listing. These listings have no Country, City,State or Zip code (optional) fields and no Manage Saved Locations button.
Edge cases for item locations in 3Dsellers
Picking a saved location only fills in the form. The location is sent to eBay when you list or update the listing.
The Manage Locations dialog in the listing editor has no edit button. To change a saved location's address, add a new location with the right address and pick it on your listings.
To set the location on many listings at once, use the bulk action in Edit eBay Package, Weight and Location in Bulk.
What the item location block will not do
It will not delete a saved location that still has products.
It will not set the location of several listings at once. Use the bulk action for that.
Troubleshooting item locations in 3Dsellers
Country, City,State and Zip code are greyed out
A saved location is picked in Saved Locations, so the three fields are locked. The fields can only be typed in while no saved location is picked. Clear the Saved Locations field to type in them again.
The Add button in Add Location stays greyed out
Fill in the Name (or tick Use Generated Name), the Country and the City.
A message appears under the location name
The name has a space or a character other than letters, numbers and underscores, or another saved location already uses it. Change the name, or tick Use Generated Name.
I cannot delete a saved location
Its trash icon is greyed out because products are still assigned to that location. Only a location with a Products Count of 0 can be deleted.
My listing has no Saved Locations field
The listing shows Inventory Locations instead. Pick one of your eBay inventory locations there, then save the listing.
Item location FAQ
Where do I set the item location of an eBay listing in 3Dsellers?
You set it in the listing editor, on the Shipping and Policies tab, in the Location: block. Pick a saved location or type the country, city and zip code.
Are saved locations the same as Catalog warehouses?
Yes - saved locations and Product Catalog warehouses are one list. Adding a saved location adds a warehouse, and deleting one deletes the warehouse.
Is the zip code required?
No. On the listing the field is Zip code (optional), and in Add Location only the Name, Country and City are needed before Add can be clicked.
What is an eBay merchant location?
eBay identifies each inventory location in a seller's eBay account with a merchant location key. On listings that have one, 3Dsellers shows it in the Inventory Locations field.
