Saving photos from an eBay page one right-click at a time is slow, and it usually gets you the small preview the page displays, often a WEBP file, instead of the real photo. The 3Dsellers Image Downloader reads the listing's gallery and fetches each photo at eBay's largest size, with the file extension that matches what is inside.
What the 3Dsellers Image Downloader does:
Lists every photo in an eBay listing's gallery in a panel on the right of the page, all selected.
Downloads the photos you pick as one ZIP file or as separate files, in JPG, PNG or WEBP.
Downloads a single photo, either from the panel or straight from the listing with a small arrow that appears when you point at a photo.

It does not change the eBay page, your listings or your eBay account. It only reads the page and saves files.

It does not create a listing. To turn a product page into a listing draft, use the 3Dsellers Product Importer instead.
How do I install the Image Downloader?
Open the Image Downloader page on the Chrome Web Store. Its full name there is Product & Listing Image Downloader - Bulk Photos from eBay & Any Store, by 3Dsellers.
Click Add to Chrome, then Add extension.
Optional: click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar and pin the Image Downloader, so its icon is always one click away.
The 3Dsellers Image Downloader works in Google Chrome and other Chromium browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store. Pages that were already open before you installed it need a reload before the 3D button shows up.
How do I open the Image Downloader panel?
There are three ways to open the 3Dsellers Image Downloader panel on an eBay listing:
The floating 3D button. On a supported page, a round dark-blue button with a green IMG badge sits in the bottom-right corner of the page. Click it. If the page already has something fixed in that corner (another extension's button, or a site's help or feedback button), the 3D button moves up above it.
The keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+D (Option+Shift+D on a Mac). It opens the panel on any page that has photos to download. You can change it at chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
The toolbar icon. Click the Image Downloader icon in Chrome's toolbar. It opens the same panel on any https page, including shops that are not on the extension's list.
The panel opens on the right of the page. The header shows Image Downloader and the site it is reading (for example by 3Dsellers · eBay). The menu on its left has four tabs: Photos, Settings, Feedback and Help. On the Photos tab of an eBay listing you see:
The number of photos found, for example 19 photos.
Save as: the file format, JPG, PNG or WEBP. Next to it, All and None select or clear every photo.
A grid of the listing's photos, three per row, every one ticked.
Download 19 photos as ZIP. The number always matches how many photos are ticked.
Download as separate files, and under it Cancel, which closes the panel.
â The 3D button appears on eBay listing pages, eBay search results, eBay store and category pages, and on product pages of the other supported shops.
How do I choose which photos to download?
Every photo in the 3Dsellers Image Downloader panel starts selected. To download only some of them:
Click a photo to leave it out. Its blue border and tick disappear, and the download button counts down (Download 18 photos as ZIP).
To start from nothing, click None. The button reads Download 0 photos as ZIP and is greyed out until you pick at least one photo. All selects everything again.
Click each photo you want. In the example below four photos are picked, and the button reads Download 4 photos as ZIP.
Choose the format in Save as: JPG, PNG or WEBP. The extension remembers your choice for next time.
Download one photo from the panel
Point at any photo in the grid and a small â button appears in its bottom-right corner (its tooltip says Download this photo). Click it to save that photo alone, whether it is ticked or not.
ZIP or separate files: which should I use?
The 3Dsellers Image Downloader panel has two download buttons. They save the same full-size photos, and differ only in how the files arrive:

While the photos download, a green progress bar and a line of status text show what is happening (Fetching photos⊠3/4, then Building ZIPâŠ). When it finishes, the status line says where the photos went, for example Done - 4 photos saved in one ZIP. or Done - 3 photos saved to Downloads/Product Images/listing title.
What size and format are the downloaded photos?
The 3Dsellers Image Downloader does not save the image the page is showing you. It works out the address of the photo's largest version on the store's own image server and downloads that:

A photo that was uploaded smaller than that stays at its own size: the extension never enlarges a photo.
The format is real, not just a file name. If you choose JPG and the store sends a WEBP or AVIF file (many image servers do), the extension converts the photo to a genuine JPG before saving it, so every file opens in any photo editor and on any marketplace. If the file is already in the format you chose, it is saved exactly as it came, with no re-compression.
How do I download just one photo?
You do not need to open the 3Dsellers Image Downloader panel to save a single photo. On an eBay listing:
Point at the main photo, or any product photo on the page that is at least 120 pixels wide and tall.
A round blue arrow appears in the photo's bottom-right corner.
Click the arrow. That photo is saved in full size, in the format set in Save as, to Downloads / Product Images / the listing title.
Photos saved with the arrow are named after eBay's own photo ID rather than a number, so saving several photos one by one gives each its own name. If you find the arrow gets in the way, turn off Download arrow on photos in the Settings tab.
How do I download photos from a whole eBay search or store page?
On an eBay search results page, an eBay store page or an eBay category page, the 3Dsellers Image Downloader panel lists the listings on the page instead of photos. It works on Amazon search results too.
Run your search on eBay (or open the store), then click the 3D button.
The panel shows how many listings it found, for example 60 listings, and lists them with their main photo.
Leave Include every photo of each listing (slower) unticked to get one main photo per listing, or tick it to get every photo of every listing.
Click Download images from all 60 listings (ZIP).

The listings downloaded are the ones on the page you are looking at. To get the next 60, go to the next page of results and click the 3D button again. The panel shows the first 60 listings by name and counts the rest (âŠand N more.), but the download includes every listing it found on the page.
A worked example: a Nikon FE2 listing with 19 photos
This is the run filmed for the video, reproduced with the 3Dsellers Image Downloader v1.2.9 on 24 September 2026. The listing is a used Nikon FE2 camera body on eBay.com with 19 photos in its gallery.

Can I reuse the photos I download?
â ïž Only reuse photos you own or have permission to use. The Image Downloader saves any photo a page shows, but the photos in another seller's listing belong to that seller. eBay and most marketplaces remove listings that use someone else's photos without permission.
Good uses of the 3Dsellers Image Downloader:
Backing up the photos of your own eBay listings, for example before a listing ends or before you relist it on another channel.
Collecting the photos your supplier or the brand provides for resellers, from their product pages.
Saving photos for research and reference, such as comparing how competitors photograph a product, without putting them in your own listings.
If the photos are already in your eBay listings and you want them inside 3Dsellers, the Save Images to Library bulk action copies them into your 3Dsellers Image Hosting library without downloading anything.
Which websites does the Image Downloader work on?
The 3Dsellers Image Downloader shows its 3D button by itself on these sites:
eBay: eBay.com and the other eBay country sites, including eBay UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Canada, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and more. Listing pages, search results, store pages and category pages.
Amazon: Amazon.com and the other Amazon country sites. Product pages and search results.
Walmart, Etsy, AliExpress, Alibaba and Temu: product pages.
Other stores on its list, such as Home Depot, Target, Best Buy, Costco, Wayfair, Reverb, Back Market, Kaufland, Otto, Allegro and vidaXL: product pages.
Search-page downloads (Download images from all ⊠listings) are available on eBay and Amazon. On the other shops the extension works on one product page at a time.
Using the Image Downloader on any other online shop
For a shop that is not on the list, such as your own store or a supplier's site, turn on Work on all shops:
Click the Image Downloader icon in Chrome's toolbar on any page, or click Change next to Work on all shops in the panel's Settings tab. A small settings window opens.
Turn on Work on all shops. Chrome asks for permission to access all websites; click Allow. That access is what lets the extension read a shop's gallery and fetch the photos from the shop's image server.
Open a product page on the shop. The 3D button appears on pages that describe themselves as a product page (most online stores do, and every Shopify store's product pages are recognised).
You can turn Work on all shops off at any time in the same window, and Chrome removes the access.
What is in the Image Downloader settings?
Click Settings in the 3Dsellers Image Downloader panel's left menu. It has these rows, top to bottom:
Version: the installed version (for example v1.2.9) and whether it is up to date. When a newer version is out, an Update button appears next to it.
Default format: JPG, PNG or WEBP. It is the same setting as Save as on the Photos tab.
Show button on product pages: turn it off to hide the floating 3D button. The panel still opens with Alt+Shift+D or the toolbar icon.
Download arrow on photos: turn it off to stop the download arrow from appearing when you point at a photo on the page.
Work on all shops: shows On or Off, and Change opens the window where you turn it on.
The Feedback tab lets you send the 3Dsellers team a problem report or a feature suggestion, with an optional email address for a reply. The Help tab repeats the basics of how the extension works.
What does the Image Downloader send to 3Dsellers?
The photos never pass through 3Dsellers. The 3Dsellers Image Downloader fetches each photo from the store's own image server with your browser and saves it on your computer. There is no account and no sign-in.
To keep the extension working, it sends 3Dsellers anonymous usage counts and error reports: for example that a download started or finished, how many photos it had, the format, the site's domain and whether it was a product or a search page, keyed to a random ID for your installation. Usage counts carry only the site's domain; an error report also includes the address of the page where the error happened. Neither includes the page's content or any photo, as the panel says under the photo grid. If you send feedback from the Feedback tab, your message, the page's address and the email you enter (optional) are sent with it.
Edge cases
Listing videos. If an eBay listing has a video the extension can save, the panel shows đ„ Video found with a Download MP4 button, and the video goes to the listing's folder as video.mp4. Most eBay videos are streamed; then the panel says the listing has a video but eBay serves it as a protected stream that extensions cannot save.
Amazon shows most photos twice. Amazon publishes each photo in two sizes under different names, and the panel currently lists both, so a product with 12 photos shows 24 photos. The copies are the small ones (about 500 pixels or less). Click None and pick the larger versions, or delete the small files afterwards.
âEvery photoâ on eBay can include the seller's profile picture. When a seller has a custom profile picture, it can end up in each listing's folder as one extra image. Delete it after you unzip.
File names on search and store pages. Names come from the listing titles on the page, cut to 60 characters. On eBay search pages they can carry eBay's hidden labels, such as New Listing at the start or Opens in a new window or tab at the end; on eBay store pages every listing is currently named listing. The photos themselves are correct.
Characters that are not allowed in file names (such as / : * ? and quotes) are replaced with spaces, so f/2.8 in a title becomes f 2.8 in the file name.
One photo fails. If a photo cannot be fetched, the others are still saved and the status line counts it, for example Done - 18 photos saved in one ZIP. 1 could not be fetched.
Very large batches. A ZIP is built in memory, so one ZIP is capped at 1.5 GB. Past that the panel says Too many images for one ZIP - use separate files. Each single photo is capped at 25 MB.
Closing the panel during a download. The download carries on and the files are still saved, but the progress bar and the Done line go with the panel. Check Chrome's downloads list instead.
Every photo, when a listing page cannot be read. If the extension cannot open one of the listings, it saves that listing's main photo instead, so the folder has one photo.
Limits
The 3Dsellers Image Downloader will not:
Download more than 60 photos from one product page.
Take more than 24 photos per listing when Include every photo is ticked on a search page.
Go through several pages of search results at once. It downloads the listings on the page you have open.
Save streamed videos, or edit, crop, resize or remove backgrounds from photos.
Put the photos into a listing for you. For that, use the 3Dsellers Product Importer.
Troubleshooting
I don't see the 3D button on the page
Reload the page. Tabs that were open before you installed or updated the extension need a reload.
Check that you are on a listing, search, store or product page, not a home page or Seller Hub.
Check Settings â Show button on product pages. If it is off, press Alt+Shift+D or click the toolbar icon instead.
On a shop that is not on the extension's list, turn on Work on all shops (see above), or click the toolbar icon to open the panel on that one page.
The panel says âNo gallery photos found on this pageâ
The listing's gallery had not loaded when the panel opened, or the page is not a product page. Reload the page, wait until the photos appear, and open the panel again. On a shop outside the extension's list, turn on Work on all shops so the extension can read the gallery.
I can't find the downloaded ZIP
A ZIP is saved in your Downloads folder itself, named after the listing title (or ebay.com - 60 images.zip for a search page). Separate files and single photos go into Downloads / Product Images / the listing title. If Chrome is set to ask where to save each file, it asks for the ZIP too. Open Chrome's downloads list (Ctrl+J, or Cmd+Shift+J on a Mac) to see exactly where each file went.
The status line says some photos could not be fetched
The store's image server did not send those photos, usually because of a slow connection or a photo that was removed. Click the download button again. On a shop outside the extension's list, turn on Work on all shops: without it, the extension may not be allowed to fetch from that shop's image server.
The panel says âToo many images for one ZIP - use separate filesâ
The batch passed the 1.5 GB limit for one ZIP. Use Download as separate files, pick fewer photos, or download a search page with Include every photo unticked.
Alt+Shift+D does nothing
The shortcut only opens the panel on a page with photos to download. If it still does nothing, another extension may be using the same keys: open chrome://extensions/shortcuts and check or change the shortcut for the Image Downloader.
The 3D button stopped responding after an update
When the extension updates, pages that were already open keep the old copy until they are reloaded. Reload the page. To check your version, open the panel's Settings tab.
