Product Catalog Grid: Columns, Filters, Inline Edit

Find your way around the 3Dsellers Product Catalog grid: segments, columns, search, filters, inline edits and Bulk Actions for eBay products.

Written by Amit Fidelman

The 3Dsellers Product Catalog grid is the table at Product Catalog > Products where you see every product in your catalog and where it is listed. From one screen you can search, filter, edit some cells and run Bulk Actions. This article maps the screen and links to the detailed articles.

⚠️ In the 3Dsellers Product Catalog grid, a change you type into a cell is not saved until you click Apply changes. Title, condition, brand and model number changes also reach your live channel listings only if Revise active listings is ticked. Changing page, search, filter, sort or segment first asks whether to discard your edits.

Where do I find the Product Catalog grid and its segments?

  1. In the left menu of 3Dsellers, click Product Catalog, then Products. The page title reads All Products.

  2. Use the left panel to pick a segment. The grid, the page title and the toolbar change to match it.

The left panel of the 3Dsellers Product Catalog grid has two blocks:

  • Action Required lists segments that need your attention: Missing SKU, Listing Errors and Duplicate Products, each with a count.

  • Products lists All, Scheduled, your channel accounts and your Custom Segments. Click Add New Segment to save the current filters as a segment.

What do the buttons above the grid do?

The toolbar of the 3Dsellers Product Catalog grid sits above the table:

  • + Add Filter opens the filter list.

  • Bulk Actions stays greyed out until you tick at least one product. Point at it and the tooltip reads Select items from the table to perform bulk actions.

  • Publish To Channel publishes ticked products to a channel. It is greyed out until you select products.

  • New Product opens the menu for adding products.

  • AI Approvals appears with a number badge when AI actions are waiting.

How do I add a new product?

  1. On the All segment, click New Product in the toolbar.

  2. Pick how to create it: Create Product Manually, or one of the AI options under Create with AI: Images to Products, URLs to Products, Titles to Products, Identifiers to Products, or Scan Barcode.

Create with AI is a heading in the menu, not a choice. The five options under it are the choices.

How do I show, hide and reset columns?

The 3Dsellers Product Catalog grid shows Product, Category, 3Dsellers Product Tags, Condition, Brand, Model Number, the quantity and Price columns, one column per connected channel account, Creation Date, Imported From and Actions. You can switch on more: Image, Title, SKU, Type, Cost, MSRP, Wholesale Price, Ceiling Price and Floor Price.

  1. Click the table-layout icon at the right end of the search row, next to the search box.

  2. On the Columns tab, turn columns on or off and drag them into the order you want.

  3. To go back to the standard layout, open the Column Options tab and click Reset table to default.

  • 3Dsellers saves your column settings (width, order, hidden and pinned columns) in this browser. Another computer, another browser, or cleared browser data starts with the default layout.

  • Each segment keeps its own layout, so changing columns on All does not change Scheduled.

  • Sorting works from the headers of Product, SKU, Price, Available Qty, On Hand Qty and Reserved Qty.

How do I search for a product?

  1. Above the table, open the first dropdown of the search box (it shows Title: at first) and pick what to search by: SKU:, Variation SKU:, Title:, ASIN:, GTIN:, GCID:, ePID:, EAN:, MPN: or UPC:.

  2. Above the box, click Search Type (Contains at first) to change how the match works: Contains, Exact Match, Begins With, Ends With, In List (OR) or In List (AND).

  3. Type your term in the Search... box.

  3. Pick a filter and set its value.

What do the dots next to each channel mean?

In the 3Dsellers Product Catalog grid, each channel account has a column with a small mark and one or two dots per product:

  • Green - live on the channel.

  • Green and red - live, and the listing also shows an error.

  • Red - not live yet, and the listing has an error.

  • Gray - a draft or a scheduled listing. Gray and red together is a draft with an error.

  • A listing still pending on the marketplace has its own dot colour. Point at it to read Pending marketplace approval.

Point at a mark to see the account name and buttons such as Edit Listing, Publish, Republish or Revise. Pointing is safe, but those buttons act when you click them. See Understanding Listing Status & Listing Errors in the Product Catalog and Understanding Linked and Unlinked Listings in Product Catalog.

How do I edit products right in the grid?

The 3Dsellers Product Catalog grid lets you edit some fields in the cell. This view has no screenshot, so it is described in words.

  • You can edit Title (inside the Product cell), Condition, Brand, Model Number, Price, Cost, MSRP, Wholesale Price, Floor Price and Ceiling Price.

  • SKU, Category, tags, quantities and channel columns are not editable in the cells.

  • If your account uses permissions, a teammate needs the edit listings permission, otherwise the cells are plain text. Price is plain text on parent and bundle rows.

  1. Click a cell and type the new value. The row is highlighted.

  2. A bar appears with two checkboxes, Revise active listings (off by default) and Also revise unlinked listings, and the buttons Cancel and Apply changes.

  3. Tick Revise active listings if the change should also go to the live listings. Its tooltip reads: Title, condition, brand and model number changes reach your active listings only when this is checked. Price changes sync on their own, according to each channel's Price Sync settings.

  4. Click Apply changes. 3Dsellers saves all the edited rows as one background bulk action.

If a value is wrong, 3Dsellers shows a message for that product and does not save it, such as Title cannot be empty, Price must be a number or Price must not exceed the Ceiling Price. An empty Price is an error.

If you change page, search, filter, sort or segment while edits are waiting, Unsaved changes asks You have unsaved product changes that will be lost. Discard them? with Discard and Keep editing. For the Listings grid, see Edit eBay Listings in the Grid: Undo, Pin and Columns.

How do I select products, including all of them?

  1. Tick the checkbox at the left of each product.

  2. Read the line that appears in the header: 2 products are selected. followed by Select all 4892 products (your own number will differ).

  3. Click Select all to include every product that matches the current segment, filters and search, on all pages. The line then reads All and the total, with Clear selection.
