Bulk Edit eBay Inventory (Up to Qty) and Warehouse – Listing Tool

Bulk update warehouse stock and Up to Quantity (Inventory Control) settings across multiple eBay listings in 3Dsellers — with notes on how behavior changes when the Product Catalog is enabled.

Written by Karolina Santiago

The Edit Inventory/Warehouse bulk action lets you update stock quantities and Up to Quantity (Inventory Control) settings across multiple listings at once.

Go to Listings Manager, select the listings you want to update, then click Bulk Actions → Edit Inventory/Warehouse.

With or without the Product Catalog

How this action behaves depends on whether you have the Product Catalog enabled:

Without Catalog (standard setup): you can update both Warehouse Qty and Up to Qty Status directly from the Listings Manager.

With Catalog enabled: inventory (Warehouse Qty) is managed at the catalog product level. From the Listings Manager you can still update the Up to Quantity setting, but to update the actual warehouse stock you need to go to the Product Catalog and update it there.

Warehouse Qty

Update the stock level stored in 3Dsellers:

  • Increase inventory by X units — adds to the existing warehouse quantity

  • Set Warehouse inventory to X — sets an exact quantity, overwriting the current value

  • Include Variations — applies the change to all variation child SKUs as well as the parent

  • Do not update variation if Warehouse and eBay Quantity equals zero — skips variations that are already at zero on both Warehouse and eBay, preventing accidental restocking of discontinued variants

Up to Qty Status (Inventory Control)

Controls how much stock is shown publicly on eBay, independently of your actual Warehouse quantity:

  • Up to Qty Status toggle — enable or disable Inventory Control for all selected listings. When enabled, 3Dsellers will automatically restock the eBay quantity back to the Up to Quantity value after each sale.

  • Set up-to-quantity to X units — the quantity that will be shown on eBay and restocked to after each sale

💡 Use case: If you have unlimited or print-on-demand stock, set Warehouse Qty to a high number (e.g. 9999) and Up to Quantity to 5. eBay will always show 5 units, and after each sale Inventory Control will restock it back to 5 automatically.
