Bulk Edit Titles and Descriptions – eBay Listings

Bulk update the title or description across many eBay listings: add text at the start or end, or replace it, with dynamic fields per listing.

Written by Avi Assa

The Edit Titles & Descriptions bulk action lets you update the title or description across multiple listings at once — without opening each listing individually. Changes are published directly to eBay.

Go to Listings Manager, select the listings you want to update, then click Bulk Actions → Edit Titles & Descriptions.

Choose what to update

Select whether you want to update the Title or the Description — you can only update one at a time per action.

Where to apply the edits

Choose how the text is applied to the existing value:

  • Add to start — prepends your text to the beginning of the current title or description

  • Add to end — appends your text to the end of the current title or description

  • Set to — replaces the title or description entirely with your new text

Dynamic Fields

You can insert dynamic fields into your text that will be replaced with each listing's actual data when applied. Available dynamic fields:

  • Item Title

  • Item Subtitle

  • Item Condition

  • Item Price

  • Item SKU

  • Package weight

Click a dynamic field in the panel to insert it into your text. This lets you create personalized prefixes or suffixes that pull real listing data — for example, adding "Free shipping on [Item Title]" to the start of every title.

⚠️ Changes are published directly to the marketplace — there is no draft preview step. Use Add to start or Add to end rather than Set to if you want to preserve your existing content.
