How to End Listings in Bulk (Product Catalog)

Learn how to end live channel listings for multiple products at once using the End Listings bulk action, while keeping the product records in the 3Dsellers Catalog.

Written by Karolina Santiago

Overview

The End Listings bulk action ends selected products' listings directly on the sales channel — removing them from the marketplace immediately.

Important: What This Does and Does NOT Do

  • What it does — Ends the live listing on the channel (eBay, Shopify, etc.). Buyers can no longer find or purchase the item.

  • What it does NOT do — It does not delete the product from the 3Dsellers Catalog. The product record remains and can be relisted at any time.

When to Use This

  • You need to immediately remove listings from a channel — for example, a product is out of stock and you don't want it showing as available

  • A product line is being discontinued and all listings need to be ended

  • You want to temporarily pull listings off eBay while you update content, then relist

  • An error was made in a batch of listings and you need to end them quickly before fixing and relisting

How to Use It

  1. Go to Products Catalog and select the products whose listings you want to end

  2. Click Bulk Actions → End Listings

  3. Select the channel(s) to end listings on

  4. Confirm to end the listings

Use Case Examples

Example 1: End listings for a discontinued product range

A whole category of products is being discontinued. Filter by category, select all products, and run End Listings for eBay. All listings are removed from eBay while the product records stay in 3Dsellers for your records.

Example 2: Temporarily pull listings for a content update

You're doing a major content overhaul on a product range. End the listings first, update descriptions and images in the Catalog, then republish — ensuring buyers never see the outdated content.

Example 3: Emergency removal

A pricing error affects 50 products — prices were set way too low. End the listings immediately to stop orders coming in, fix the prices in the Catalog, then relist at the correct price.

⚠️ Ending a listing on eBay may have implications for your account metrics depending on the reason for ending. For planned changes, relist promptly after making your updates.

💡 After ending listings, you can use the Publish to Channel feature from the Catalog to relist the products whenever you're ready.
