Overview
Exporting products from your 3Dsellers Product Catalog allows you to create backups, analyze product data in external tools, and perform bulk operations using spreadsheet applications.
3Dsellers offers multiple ways to export your products:
Export directly from the Products Catalog
Export using the Export button
Create scheduled exports via the Report Center
Important: In all export methods, you can choose which fields (columns) to include in the exported CSV.
Benefits of Exporting Products
Exporting your product catalog offers several advantages:
Data Backup: Create backups of your product data for safekeeping and disaster recovery.
External Analysis: Analyze product data in Excel or Google Sheets.
Bulk Editing: Export, edit in spreadsheets, and re-import for efficient bulk updates.
Reporting: Create scheduled exports and share them with teammates.
Data Migration: Export data when migrating to or from other systems.
Compliance: Maintain records for accounting, tax, or regulatory purposes.
Method 1: Export from Products Catalog (Bulk Actions)
This is a fast way to export selected products from your Products Catalog.
Step 1: Select Products
Navigate to Products Catalog in the left sidebar.
Use filters, segments, or search to find the products you want to export.
Select products by checking the boxes next to product names.
You can select individual products or use Select all to export all visible products.
You’ll see a message like: “X products are selected”.
Step 2: Export via Bulk Actions
In the top action bar, click Bulk Actions.
Select Export To CSV.
Choose the fields you want to export or click to Add All Fields
The CSV file will start being generated
You will be redirected to the Export Files tab where you can download the report once is done
Method 2: Export from Products Catalog (Export Button)
This method allows you to export all products or manually choose only selected products to include.
Step 1: Select Products
Go to Products Catalog
Select the products you want to export
Confirm the message: “X products are selected”
Step 2: Open Export Modal
Click the Export dropdown button (top right)
Select Create Export File / Export with Field Selection
The export window will open
Step 3: Choose Fields
You’ll see two columns:
All Fields (left)
Selected Fields (right)
To select fields:
Use the search bar to find fields (example: price, title, category)
Click a field in All Fields to move it into Selected Fields
Repeat until you have all fields you need
Quick options:
Add All Fields: Selects everything
Remove All Fields: Clears your selections
Step 4: Export
Review your selected fields (SKU is recommended for identification)
Click Export Now
The CSV will download automatically
Important Note: For inventory exports that include warehouse-level quantities, use Inventory Management exports.
Method 3: Scheduled Exports via Report Center
The Report Center is best if you want exports to run automatically on a schedule.
Step 1: Access Report Center
Go to Reports
Open the Report Center
Step 2: Create a New Report
Click Create Report
The Create Report window will open
Step 3: Select Report Type
Choose Export Products (this option is for Product Catalog exports).
Step 4: Configure Export Settings
Report Name:
Enter a clear name like “Weekly Product Catalog Export”
Filters (Optional):
Use filters if you want to export only part of your catalog (category, brand, tags, etc.)
Select Fields:
Choose which fields will appear in the export (same field selection as the Products Catalog export)
Step 5: Configure Schedule (Optional)
To run the report automatically:
Turn Schedule ON
Choose Frequency (Daily / Weekly / Monthly)
Select day/time
Choose the correct time zone
Step 6: Email Notifications (Optional)
Add email(s) under “Emails to notify”
Press Enter after each email address
Important: Email addresses must be verified to receive scheduled exports.
Step 7: Save and Generate
You can choose:
Save & Generate (generate immediately)
Save Report as Template (save settings and use for scheduled runs)
Export File Format (CSV)
Exports generate a CSV file that can be opened in:
Excel
Google Sheets
Numbers
CSV basics:
First row = column headers (your selected fields)
Each row after = one product
Empty cells = missing data
Exporting Inventory Data (Warehouses + Quantities)
If you need detailed inventory data including warehouses, use Inventory Management export.

Go to Products Catalog
Click Inventory Management
Use the export options from the Multichannel Inventory Management page

Always include SKU in your selected fields for identification
Export in smaller batches for very large catalogs
Select only the fields you need for faster, smaller exports
Create a test export before setting up a schedule
Use descriptive filenames (example: products_export_2025-01-15.csv)

Export Fails or Doesn’t Download
Confirm products are selected
Check browser download settings
Try another browser
