CSV import lets you create brand-new products in your 3Dsellers Product Catalog in bulk. It’s a fast way to add large inventories, supplier feeds, or products prepared outside the platform. 🚀
This guide walks you step-by-step through uploading a CSV, mapping fields, and starting the import.
Download the 3Dsellers CSV Template (Recommended)
Before you start, you can download our ready-made CSV template to ensure your file is formatted correctly.
Using the template helps reduce mapping errors and speeds up import setup. ✅
📍 How to Reach the “Create New Products with CSV” Screen
Open Products from the main left menu.
Go to All Products in your Product Catalog.
Click Import (top-right).
Select Create New Products from CSV.
You’ll now see the CSV import page.
📤 Choosing Your CSV File

Enter your Host/Domain and credentials
The rest should autofill
Click Test Connection, then Save
✅ Best for recurring imports from a supplier feed.

🧩 Mapping Your Import
After the file uploads, the mapping table unlocks.
Understanding the Mapping Grid
The page has 3 important columns:
3Dsellers Products Field (left column)
These are the fields inside your 3Dsellers Catalog (Title, SKU, Price, Barcode, etc.).
Matching Field From Uploaded CSV (middle column)
For each 3Dsellers field, select what CSV column should fill it.If you don’t want to import a field, choose Don’t Import.
If you do want to import it, pick the matching CSV column.
Fallback (right column)
Use fallback to set a default value if your CSV column is missing or empty.
Any fallback value applies to all imported products.
Example fallback uses
Set all imported items to Brand = “Generic”
Set Condition = “New”
Assign all items to a specific product category
💾 Save a Mapping Preset (Optional but Helpful)
If you’ll import similar CSV files again, you can save your mapping setup:
Choose a Mapping Preset name
Click Save Mapping Preset
Next time, just select the preset and skip remapping. ⏱️
▶️ Start the Import
When mapping is complete:
Click Start Import (bottom-right).
You’ll see a success message confirming the import has begun.
The system will lead you to the Import/Export Files page where you can track the status of the import.
When finished, you’ll get a notification in your notification center.
Your new products will now appear in the Catalog. ✅
⭐ Best Practices
✅ Use the Excel Import Products Template + Instructions for correct formatting.
✅ Always map SKU (recommended unique identifier).
✅ Use fallback values to avoid missing-data errors.
✅ Save a preset if you import the same structure regularly.
✅ Test with a small CSV first before importing thousands of rows.
