AI Price Suggestions & Price Analytics

Learn how AI Price Suggestions and Price Analytics help you set accurate, competitive prices, analyze market trends, and optimize your eBay listings.

Written by Karolina Santiago

The AI Price Suggestions tool helps you set confident, competitive eBay prices in seconds. It analyzes the last 30 days of active eBay listings for similar items, then recommends a price that balances visibility, competitiveness, and profit. You’ll also see the exact active listings it used, so you know precisely how the recommendation was calculated

1. Why use it

  • Price with proof: Every number comes from recent, comparable active eBay listings.

  • Stay ahead of the market: Spot shifts in buyer demand and competitor moves before they impact sales.

  • Decide faster: Apply a suggested price immediately or open full analytics for deeper review.

  • Reduce guesswork: Understand how your current price compares to the range buyers are actually paying.

  • AI-recommended price (optimized for visibility and conversion

> Data refreshes every few hours and excludes shipping costs.

3. Full Price Analytics Panel Overview 🧩

The Full Price Analytics panel expands the AI Price Suggestions popup into a complete 30-day market view. It combines key pricing stats, trend charts, and the exact active listings used for the AI recommendation so you can understand the market range and confidently choose your list price.

From the AI Price Suggestions popup, click Show Full Price Analytics to open the advanced dashboard.

3.1. 30-Day Market Summary 🧾

At the top of the panel, you’ll see a quick snapshot of comparable active listings from the last 30 days:

  • Lowest Listed Price — the cheapest comparable active listing

  • Highest Listed Price — the top asking price on a similar active listing

  • Total Listings Analyzed — how many comparable active listings were found in the period

  • Date Range Selector — confirms the 30-day window being analyzed

This snapshot answers two fast questions:

  1. What are sellers asking right now?

  2. How much competition is there right now?

Please note that the date range dropdown menu also includes options to filter data for 60 and 90 days.

3.2. Detailed Pricing Metrics 📈

Right below the summary are the core pricing reference points:

  • Lowest Price — floor of the market

  • Median Price — typical/most representative price level

  • AI Suggested Price — recommended sweet spot based on the listing price distribution

  • Average Price — overall mean of listed prices

Use these together to gauge where your price should land:

  • near Median for a “normal” market-aligned price

  • closer to Lowest for faster turnover

  • closer to Highest if your item is premium or in better condition

3.3. Price & Listings Trend Chart 📊

The chart combines two views in one:

  • Blue line (Price) — daily asking-price movement over time

  • Green bars (Listings) — number of active listings per day

This helps you quickly spot:

  • price volatility (spikes or drops)

  • listing surges (clusters of higher green bars)

  • timing patterns (days/weeks when prices or listing volume shift)

In short: it shows not just the range, but the rhythm of the market.

3.4. Active Listings Breakdown 🔍

At the bottom, the panel lists every active listing used to calculate the AI price. Each row includes:

  • Item title

  • Condition

  • Date listed

  • Listed price

You can sort comps to explore the range from different angles, such as:

  • Recently Listed — most current market signals

  • Lowest Price — budget/lower-priced comps

  • Highest Price — premium comps

This section is key for trust and control: you can verify the comps match your item and decide if you want to price closer to low, mid, or high market.

4. Applying the Suggested Price

Once you’ve chosen the price you want to use:

  1. Choose the price range you want to apply (lowest, median, AI suggested or average)

  2. Click Update Price on eBay.

  3. Your new price syncs to the active listing right away.
