GPSR Actions in Listings (Full Guide)
Who needs this guide?
This guide is for sellers who list or relist products to the EU/UK markets and must meet eBay’s new GPSR compliance requirements.
What is GPSR? (General Product Safety Regulation)
The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) is an EU law requiring sellers to provide clear, traceable product-safety information for all consumer products sold to buyers in the EU or UK.
eBay requires sellers to complete GPSR fields before certain listings can publish or relist.
This includes providing:
Manufacturer information
Safety warnings
Hazard information (hazmat)
Product manuals/certificates
A designated Responsible Person within the EU
Failing to provide required eBay GPSR information can result in:
Listing errors
Blocked publishing
Suppressed search visibility in EU markets
Removal from eBay’s EU platforms
GPSR applies to categories such as:
Electronics & power accessories
Toys & children’s products
Tools & home equipment
Household items
Personal wellness devices
Any item requiring CE or safety declarations
This guide shows how to complete GPSR fields for an individual listing and how to update GPSR in bulk using 3Dsellers.
