How to exclude shipping locations on eBay listings

Pick countries you don't want to ship to for individual eBay listings or all sold items (on 3Dsellers and eBay).

Written by Avi Assa

eBay sellers may want to exclude specific locations from their shipping policy due to:

  • Expensive shipping

  • Poor delivery services

  • Slowness in the delivery process

  • And other issues that may arise

This quick guide shows how to exclude shipping locations from all listings or individual listings in a few steps.

How to exclude shipping locations for your entire eBay account

The eBay site allows you to exclude specific shipping locations (regions, countries, PO boxes) from all your listings.

Once you apply your shipping exclusions, eBay will block buyers whose primary shipping address is in a location you don't ship to. You can also change this setting by accessing the Buyer Management section of your selling preferences and deciding which requirements you’d like to apply to your listings.

You may exclude certain shipping locations following the instructions below:

1. Sign in to your eBay account and click on My eBay.

2. Click the Account tab, and then click Shipping Preferences in the left side menu.

3. In the Shipping Preferences tab, click the Edit link next to Exclude shipping locations.

4. Choose the states, territories, countries, or regions to exclude from shipping. In addition to excluding entire continents, you can select specific countries to exclude by clicking Show all countries.
