Overview
When a listing ends on eBay, 3Dsellers can automatically save it to your Drafts folder so you never lose the listing data and can relist it whenever you're ready. There are two ways to set this up, depending on how much control you need.
Option 1 — Listing Settings (Simplest)
This is a global on/off setting that applies to all listings on a given eBay account. Once enabled, every listing that ends on eBay is automatically moved to your 3Dsellers Drafts — no extra setup needed.
How to enable it
Go to Listings & Products → Listings Manager → Settings
Under the Ended Listings section, check: "Once a listing has ended, move it to 3Dsellers Drafts" > Save changes
Optionally, set a tag to be applied automatically to all ended listings (e.g. "ended", "supplier") to help you filter and organize them later
Save your settings
From this point on, every listing that ends on eBay for that account will be saved to your Drafts automatically.
Best for
Sellers who want all ended listings backed up to Drafts without exceptions
Sellers migrating away from another platform who want a full draft library
Anyone who frequently relists seasonal or rotating inventory
Option 2 — Automations (More Control)
If you want to apply conditions — for example, only save listings to drafts that match a certain category, carry a specific tag, or copy them to a second account — use an Automation with the Copy to Drafts action.
How to set it up
Go to Listings & Products → Listings Manager → Automations
Click New Automation
Give it a name (e.g. "Save ended listings to drafts")
Set Channel to eBay
Set Trigger to Item Listed
Add Filters if needed (by tag, category, SKU, etc.)
Under Actions, select Copy to Drafts
Configure the target account, number of copies, and whether to automatically match policies
Click Save and Activate
Tip: The Copy to Drafts action can also include Additional AI Actions — for example, automatically rewriting the title or description on the draft copy before you relist it.
Best for
Cross-listing: automatically creating a draft copy of every new listing on a second eBay account (e.g. eBay US → eBay UK draft)
Sellers who want AI to enrich the draft copy before relisting
Scenarios where you only want specific listings (by tag, category, or SKU) saved to drafts
Use Cases
Use Case 1 — Seasonal Inventory
Scenario: You sell seasonal items (holiday decorations, summer gear, back-to-school products) that you list every year. When the season ends, you don't want to rebuild listings from scratch.
Setup: Enable the Ended Listings setting. Tag your seasonal items with "seasonal". When they end, they land in Drafts with all data intact — ready to relist next year in one click.
Result: No data lost, no manual backup needed, relisting takes seconds instead of hours.
Use Case 2 — Cross-listing to a Second eBay Account
Scenario: You sell on eBay US and want every new listing to also appear on eBay UK, but you need to review it first before publishing.
Setup: Create an Automation with Trigger: Item Listed, Action: Copy to Drafts, Target Account: your eBay UK account. Optionally add AI Actions to localize the title or description automatically.
Result: Every time a listing goes live on eBay US, a draft copy appears in your eBay UK account ready to review and publish.
Use Case 3 — Supplier-Specific Backup
Scenario: You source from multiple suppliers. When a supplier runs out of stock and a listing ends, you want those drafts tagged and grouped so you can relist quickly when stock returns.
Setup: Enable the Ended Listings setting and set the automatic tag to match your supplier name (e.g. "supplier-A"). When the listing ends it lands in Drafts with that tag, making it easy to filter and bulk relist later.
Result: Supplier stock returns → filter by tag → bulk relist in one action.
Use Case 4 — Auction Relisting
Scenario: You run auction-format listings that end every 7 days. Instead of recreating them manually each time, you want them automatically saved to drafts so you can relist with one click.
Setup: Enable the Ended Listings setting. Auctions will be saved to Drafts as soon as they end. Add a tag like "auction" to filter them easily.
Result: Auctions end → appear in Drafts → bulk relist in seconds.
Use Case 5 — AI-Enhanced Relisting
Scenario: You want to relist ended items but also take the opportunity to improve the title and description with AI before publishing again.
Setup: Use an Automation with Trigger: Item Listed, Action: Copy to Drafts + Additional AI Actions (Generate AI Title, Generate AI Description). The draft is created with AI-improved content, ready to publish.
Result: Every relisted item gets a fresh, optimized listing without any manual editing.
