Overview
The Find and Replace bulk action lets you search for a specific text value in any product attribute and replace it across all selected products in one operation — the same concept as Find & Replace in a word processor, but applied to your entire product catalog.
When to Use This
A brand name changed and you need to update it across thousands of titles
You want to remove a specific phrase from all descriptions
A model number was entered incorrectly and needs to be corrected across many products
You want to standardize a specific word or phrase (e.g. replace "colour" with "color")
How to Use It
Go to Products Catalog and select the products you want to update
Click Bulk Actions → Find and Replace
Choose the Attribute to search in (e.g. Title, Description)
Enter the text to Find
Enter the Replacement text
Set your matching options
Choose your Save Option and confirm
Options
Match case — Makes the search case-sensitive. "Apple" will not match "apple" when enabled
Whole word only — Only matches the exact whole word. Searching "part" won't match "parts" or "partial"
Include variations — Also applies the replacement to variation child SKUs
Save Options
Save changes to catalog only — Updates only the Catalog. Live listings are not touched.
Save changes to catalog and revise linked listings — Updates the Catalog and immediately pushes changes to linked channel listings
Use Case Examples
Example 1: Brand name change
Your supplier rebranded from "AcmeCorp" to "Acme Industries". Select all affected products, find "AcmeCorp" in the Title field, replace with "Acme Industries", and save with revise — all listings update at once.
Example 2: Remove an outdated phrase
All your descriptions contain "Free shipping on orders over £20" — but that offer has ended. Find that phrase in Description and leave the Replace field empty to delete it from all products.
Example 3: Fix a typo at scale
"Refrigeretor" was imported incorrectly across 300 products. Find "Refrigeretor" in the Title, replace with "Refrigerator", and save.
💡 Leave the Replace with field empty to effectively delete the found text from all matching products.
