⚙️ What Are Listing Segments?
Listing Segments appear on the left side of your Listings & Products page. They act as folders or saved views that help you quickly navigate between different groups of listings.
There are two types of segments:
Fixed Segments – built into 3Dsellers and always available
Custom Segments – created by you, based on filters you choose
🏷️ Fixed Segments
Fixed segments are system-generated categories that automatically organize your listings. These cannot be removed.
Common fixed segments include:
All: displays all listings (active, drafts, scheduled and ended) of your connected eBay account.
Active: contains listings currently active on eBay.
3Dsellers Drafts: shows draft listings created inside 3Dsellers.
Scheduled: displays listings scheduled to be published.
Ended: listings that have ended or expired on eBay.
Missing SKU: shows listings that do not have a SKU assigned.
Duplicate SKU: shows listings where the same SKU appears more than once.
These segments help you quickly identify listing states and take bulk actions where needed.
🏷️ Special Segments: Missing SKU & Duplicate SKU
3Dsellers includes two powerful tools to help you fix SKU-related issues efficiently.
Missing SKU Segment
If listings do not contain a SKU, they will appear in the Missing SKU segment.
Inside this folder, you can:
1️⃣ Bulk Generate Missing SKUs
Create SKU codes for all selected listings at once.
You can:
Build SKU formulas
Use patterns or custom logic
Apply consistent formatting for inventory management
2️⃣ Auto-Fix Missing SKUs
Let 3Dsellers generate SKUs automatically.
SKUs are created using random characters
All SKUs stay under the 32-character limit
No setup required—just click and run
This is the fastest way to ensure all listings meet SKU requirements.
Duplicate SKU Segment
If multiple listings share the same SKU, they appear in the Duplicate SKU segment.
Inside this folder, you can:
1️⃣ Bulk Fix or Regenerate SKUs
Use the same bulk tools available in the Missing SKU segment:
Generate new SKUs using formulas
Auto-fix SKUs with a single click
2️⃣ Mark SKU as “Not Duplicated”
Sometimes items are grouped incorrectly.
Use this action when:
The SKU is intentionally duplicated
The system flagged the item by mistake
You want to remove the listing from this folder
This ensures your SKU management stays accurate and organized.
🏷️ Custom Segments
Custom Segments allow you to create your own categories based on listing filters—similar to saving a filtered view.
Examples of segments you can create:
High-value items
Out-of-stock listings
Listings from a specific brand or category
💡 Managing Your Custom Segments
Custom Segments are fully editable, allowing you to update filters, rename segments, reorder them, or remove them completely. Use the tools in the Segments menu to keep your workspace organized and efficient.
1️⃣ How to Create a Custom Segment
You can create a custom segment in two ways:
Method 1: From the Left Menu
Go to Listings → Listings Segments
Click Add New Segment at the bottom of the segment list
Enter a name for your new segment
Save
This creates an empty segment where you can later pair filters.
Method 2: Save an Existing Filter View
Apply filters at the top of your Listings screen
Click Create New Segment
Enter a name
Save
Your segment will appear in the Custom Segments section of the left menu.
This method is useful when you want to save views you use frequently.
2️⃣ How To Update an Existing Custom Segment
Select the custom segment from the left-side Segments menu.
Adjust the filters at the top of your Listings page.
Click Save Segments Change
Your segment will now use the updated filter set.
3️⃣ How To Rename a Custom Segment
Click on the custom segment name in the sidebar.
Click the three dots (⋯) icon.
Select Edit Segment.
Enter the new name and save.
4️⃣ How To Delete a Custom Segment

Click the three dots (⋯) icon.
Select Delete.
Confirm the deletion.
Deleting a segment does not affect your listings—only the saved view is removed.
5️⃣ How To Pin a Segment
Click on the custom segment name in the sidebar.
Click the pin icon.
The segment will move to the Pinned area at the top of the list.
You can unpin it at any time using the same icon.
6️⃣ How To Sort Your List of Custom Segment
At the top of the custom segments list click on the Sort Icon
A dropdown menu with sort options will be display
You can choose to sort by Alphabetical, Manual or Creation Date order.
7️⃣ How To Reorder Custom Segments with Drag & Drop
You can keep your segments organized by reordering them with drag-and-drop:
Hover over a custom segment.
Locate the drag handle icon on the right of the segment name (the stacked-line icon).
Click and hold the drag handle
Drag the segment up or down to your desired position.
Release to save the new order.
This allows you to keep your most important segments grouped or placed exactly where you prefer.
🧠 Why Use Segments?
Segments help you:
