When scheduling listings on eBay through 3Dsellers, there are two different scheduling methods available. Understanding the difference between them will help you avoid unnecessary fees and better manage your selling limits.
Scheduling via eBay’s system (Paid)
When you choose to schedule a listing using eBay’s own scheduling system, eBay treats the listing as if it were created at the scheduled time.
Important notes:
eBay may charge a scheduling fee (depending on your eBay store subscription).
The listing counts toward your eBay selling limits at the time it goes live.
Once scheduled, changes may be more limited, depending on eBay’s rules.
This method is subject entirely to eBay’s pricing and policies.
Scheduling via the 3Dsellers system (Free)
3Dsellers also offers its own scheduling system, which allows you to schedule listings without using eBay’s scheduler.
Benefits of the 3Dsellers scheduling system:
✅ No scheduling fees — completely free of charge.
✅ The listing does not count toward eBay selling limits until it is actually listed.
✅ You can edit or revise the listing at any time before it goes live.
✅ Ideal for planning large batches of listings in advance.
When using this option, 3Dsellers holds the listing as a draft and publishes it to eBay automatically at the scheduled time.
How to choose your scheduling method
When scheduling a listing in 3Dsellers, you’ll see an option to select the Scheduling System:
eBay – Uses eBay’s built-in scheduler (may include fees).
3Dsellers – Uses 3Dsellers’ free scheduling system (recommended).
💡 Tip: If you want to avoid scheduling fees and keep full flexibility, we recommend using the 3Dsellers scheduling system.
