Overview
3Dsellers can support eBay dropshipping workflows by connecting a supplier's CSV/FTP feed to your eBay listings and keeping quantity and price in sync automatically. This article explains what is supported, what isn't, and how to set expectations before getting started.
What 3Dsellers can do for dropshippers
Import a supplier product feed
If your supplier provides a product feed as a hosted CSV file (via HTTP URL or FTP/SFTP), you can connect it directly to 3Dsellers. No manual file uploads are required — the system fetches the latest version of the file on each scheduled run.
Supported feed formats: CSV files hosted on HTTP, FTP, or SFTP.
Schedule automatic updates
Once the feed URL is connected, you can schedule it to run automatically at a set frequency. The available intervals are:
Every 1 Hour
Every 2 Hours
Every 3 Hours
Every 4 Hours
Every 6 Hours
Every 12 Hours
Daily / Weekly / Monthly
If you need faster updates (Every 5, 10, or 30 minutes), this is available via the CSV Scheduled Dedicated Server add-on, which is available at an additional cost on top of the standard subscription.
Map supplier SKUs to your eBay custom label
During the CSV import setup, you can map any column from the supplier feed to your eBay custom label (SKU). This keeps the connection between supplier product codes and your eBay listings intact so updates apply to the right listings.
Sync quantity to eBay
Each time the scheduled sync runs, 3Dsellers picks up the current quantity from the supplier feed and pushes it to the corresponding eBay listings. If the supplier shows 0 for an item, that 0 will be sent to eBay on the next update.
Important: There is no automation that automatically ends or hides a listing when quantity hits 0, or when a product disappears from the feed. Quantity changes are synced as-is from the feed. If you want eBay to automatically end a listing when quantity reaches 0, you can enable that setting directly on eBay's side for GTC (Good Till Cancelled) listings.
Sync prices to eBay
Price data from the supplier feed is picked up and applied to your eBay listings on each scheduled run. 3Dsellers does not monitor price changes in real time — but each time the schedule runs, it reads the latest price from the feed and updates eBay if the value has changed since the last run.
You can also use Channel Template Rules to apply a markup, percentage, or fixed formula to the supplier price before it is sent to eBay, so you are not mirroring the supplier price directly.
Import product data when creating listings
If the supplier feed includes columns for titles, descriptions, and image URLs, these can be mapped and imported into your 3Dsellers product catalog. This data can then be used to populate or create eBay draft listings, saving you time when adding new products.
Organise listings into segments
You can create segments based on quantity thresholds to group and monitor listings by stock level (for example: active, low stock, running down). This gives you visibility over your inventory state across your eBay account. Note: segments are for monitoring and organisation — there are no automated rules that end or modify listings based on stock level.
What 3Dsellers cannot do (current limitations)
No direct API connection to suppliers. 3Dsellers works with CSV files. If your supplier only provides an API, a direct integration is not currently supported — you would need to export a CSV from the supplier's system first.
No real-time stock monitoring. Updates happen on a schedule, not instantly. If a supplier sells out between scheduled runs, your eBay listing will still show the previous quantity until the next sync.
No automatic listing end rules based on stock. There is no built-in rule to automatically end, pause, or hide a listing when it goes out of stock or disappears from the feed. Use eBay's own GTC setting for this.
No automatic listing creation for new products. When a new product appears in the supplier feed, 3Dsellers will not automatically create a new eBay listing for it. New products need to be listed manually or via a separate CSV import.
Which plan do I need?
All of the features described above (CSV/FTP import, scheduled sync, SKU mapping, quantity and price updates, channel template rules) are included in the eBay Suite plan. Pricing is based on the number of active listings synced to 3Dsellers.
The CSV Scheduled Dedicated Server add-on is required only if you need sync frequencies faster than 1 hour (5, 10, or 30-minute intervals). This is an optional add-on at an additional cost.
