3Dsellers automatically imports the listings that are live on eBay, but it does not read the drafts you saved in eBay Seller Hub, because those were never published. To get eBay draft listings into 3Dsellers, bring their details in as 3Dsellers Drafts: import them from a CSV or Excel file, let Claude run the import for you, or publish them on eBay first and copy them into 3Dsellers Drafts. This article lists every option and when to use each one.
⚠️ The Product Importer Chrome extension and URL import cannot bring in eBay Seller Hub drafts. They read a public product page, and an unpublished eBay draft does not have one. Use them for items that are live on eBay or on another marketplace.
In this article:
Which option should I use?
Your situation | Best option | Where in 3Dsellers |
Many drafts, and you have (or can make) a spreadsheet of them | CSV or Excel import | Listings > Import > Create Listings with CSV |
You have the file but do not want to map columns yourself | Claude via MCP | Listings Manager > CSV Import > Import with Claude |
The drafts are ready to go live on eBay anyway | Publish on eBay, then copy | Listings > Bulk Actions > Copy to 3Dsellers Drafts |
The item has a public product page (eBay, Amazon, other sites) | URL import or Product Importer extension | Listings > Import > Import from URL |
A few items only | Create them in 3Dsellers | Listings > Create Listing |
Every option below ends the same way: the items become 3Dsellers Drafts, which you can edit and then publish to eBay in bulk. Nothing goes live until you publish.
Option 1: Import eBay drafts from a CSV or Excel file
The CSV import is the fastest way to bring many eBay drafts into 3Dsellers at once. Each row of the file becomes one 3Dsellers Draft.
Download the 3Dsellers eBay template (Excel with instructions, or a CSV for fixed price, auction or variation listings) from eBay CSV Upload Template: Bulk Import Listings to Drafts.
Put your drafts' details in it: one row per item, a unique SKU on every row, and a WarehouseQuantity (these two are the only required fields). Add the title, price, category, condition, images and Item Specifics you have.
Go to Listings & Products > Listings, click Import, then Create Listings with CSV.
Upload the file (from your computer, an https link or FTP/SFTP), check the AI column mapping, and click Start Import.
Find the new drafts in the Unpublished Drafts segment.
Your file does not have to be in the 3Dsellers layout: the import matches your column headers to 3Dsellers fields with AI, and you can correct any match. A file exported from Inkfrog can be imported with Migration Source: Inkfrog Migration.

Re-importing the same file later only adds the new rows: SKUs that are already in your account are skipped unless you tick Replace existing drafts.
Option 2: Let Claude import your eBay drafts for you
If 3Dsellers is connected to Claude (or another AI agent) through MCP, the agent can run the CSV import for you, including the column mapping.
Connect 3Dsellers to Claude once: How to connect AI agents to 3Dsellers using MCP.
Go to Listings & Products > Listings Manager > CSV Import and click Import with Claude.
Claude opens with the request already written: it asks for your file, runs a dry run to check the column mapping, tells you what is wrong, then runs the import and reports any row errors.
Attach your file and follow the conversation. The drafts appear in Unpublished Drafts.

This is the easiest route when your spreadsheet comes from another tool and its columns do not match the template.
Option 3: Publish on eBay, then copy to 3Dsellers Drafts
If your eBay drafts are complete and you are happy for them to go live, you can publish them in eBay Seller Hub first. 3Dsellers then imports them like any other live eBay listing, and they appear in the Active segment.
To get a 3Dsellers Draft copy of live listings (for example, to make a new version or list them on another eBay site):
Go to Listings & Products > Listings and open the Active segment.
Select the listings.
Click Bulk Actions and choose Copy to 3Dsellers Drafts.

Your live eBay listings stay as they are; the copies are new 3Dsellers Drafts.
Option 4: Import from a product page (URL or Chrome extension)
These two tools create a draft from a product page that anyone can open in a browser. They do not work for unpublished eBay Seller Hub drafts, which have no public page.
Import from URL - go to Listings > Import > Import from URL (or Create Listing > URLs to Listings) and paste one or more product links from eBay, Amazon, AliExpress or Walmart.
3Dsellers Product Importer - a free Chrome extension: open the product page and click Import to 3Dsellers. It works on 19 marketplaces. See Import products in under a minute with the 3Dsellers Product Importer.
Option 5: Create the drafts in 3Dsellers
[SCREENSHOT 4 - Create Listing menu with the manual and AI options highlighted]
For a handful of items, it is often quickest to create the drafts directly in 3Dsellers. Go to Listings & Products > Listings and open Create Listing:
Create Listing Manually - fill in the listing yourself. In the drafts segments you can also click Create Draft.
Create with AI, Images to Listings, Titles to Listings, Identifiers to Listings and Scan Barcode - start a draft from a description, photos, titles, product identifiers (such as UPC or EAN) or a barcode instead of an empty form.
Option 6: The 3Dsellers API (for developers)
If the drafts live in your own system, a developer can send the file to the 3Dsellers API import endpoint, which runs the same CSV import and creates 3Dsellers Drafts. See Working with the 3Dsellers developer API.
What do I do once the drafts are in 3Dsellers?
Open the Unpublished Drafts segment on the Listings page.
Open each draft to complete anything missing. eBay needs a title, price, category, condition, item location, business policies, at least one image and the category's required Item Specifics.
Select the drafts and click Publish to Channel, choose your eBay business policies, and publish.

If eBay rejects a draft, open the Listings with Errors segment to see why, fix the draft and publish again.
FAQ
Why are my eBay Seller Hub drafts not in 3Dsellers?
3Dsellers imports the listings that are live on eBay, and drafts saved in eBay Seller Hub are not live listings, so they are not part of that import. Bring them in with a CSV or Excel file, with Claude, or publish them on eBay first.
Can the Product Importer extension import my eBay drafts?
No. The 3Dsellers Product Importer reads a public product page that is open in your browser, and an unpublished eBay draft has no public page. Use the CSV import or Claude for eBay Seller Hub drafts.
What is the fastest way to bring in hundreds of eBay drafts?
A CSV or Excel import. One file creates all the drafts in one run (up to 100,000 rows or 50 MB per file), and you can use Import with Claude if you do not want to map the columns yourself.
Will importing drafts change anything on eBay?
No. Importing creates 3Dsellers Drafts only. Nothing is sent to eBay until you select the drafts and click Publish to Channel.
What happens if I import the same drafts twice?
By default, the second CSV import skips every row whose SKU is already a draft, an active listing or a scheduled listing in your account, so you do not get duplicates. Tick Replace existing drafts if you want the import to rebuild those drafts from the file.
Do I need to have my eBay account connected?
Yes. The drafts are created for the eBay account you have selected in 3Dsellers, and you publish them to that account.
