Hide your real inventory and show eBay buyers any value you want. Here are two common reasons you may want to use this feature:
Create impulse purchases by a "fear of missing out,"
Avoid eBay's selling limits (each quantity counts as an item, and the price is included in calculating your selling limits)
How this feature works:
After each sale, Inventory Control will automatically restock the eBay Quantity from your Warehouse Inventory.
Pro Tips:
We recommend that you set eBay Quantity high enough to prevent selling out. Due to a technical error at eBay, if an item sells out to zero, there may be a delay in restocking your item or the item may not restock at all.
In most cases, your item will need prior sales before it displays “Last One” or “Almost Gone.”
How to create an eBay demand marketing strategy:
With the Listings Manager, set the eBay Quantity of an item to a low value.
Input your real stock into Warehouse Inventory.
Then, enable Inventory Control
After applying changes, Inventory Control will automatically restock the eBay Quantity from your Warehouse each time the item sells.
