When a buyer asks for an invoice, you can ask your AI agent (for example Claude, connected to 3Dsellers with MCP) to get it for you. The agent gets the 3Dsellers invoice for the order as a PDF, and if you ask, also as an image (JPEG) of the first page. It is the same invoice you print in 3Dsellers under Orders > Print > Generate Invoice, built from your invoice template. You then download it and send it to the buyer.
⚠️ The download links the agent returns expire after 5 minutes. Download the file and attach it to your message to the buyer. Do not forward the link itself.

How do I get an invoice with my AI agent?
Step 1: Ask for the invoice
Tell the agent which order you mean, for example: "Get me the invoice for the order from buyer jsmith that sold yesterday, as a PDF and an image." The agent first finds the order in your 3Dsellers orders, then asks 3Dsellers for its invoice.
Step 2: Download the file
The agent replies with a link to the PDF (and to the image, if you asked for one). Open the link within 5 minutes and save the file.
Step 3: Send it to the buyer
Attach the saved PDF or image to your reply to the buyer, for example in the 3Dsellers Helpdesk or in the marketplace's messages.
What the invoice contains
It is the 3Dsellers invoice, built from your company's invoice template: your logo, details and the layout you designed. It is not the marketplace's own receipt (for example, not eBay's order receipt).
By default the agent uses your default invoice template. You can ask for a different template by name.
If an invoice was already made for the order, 3Dsellers reuses it. If you changed the order or the template since then, ask the agent to make a new invoice so the changes are included.
Troubleshooting
The link does not open anymore
The links expire after 5 minutes. Ask the agent again for the invoice of the same order: it returns fresh links without making a new invoice.
The agent says the order has no invoice yet
No invoice was made for that order before. Ask the agent to generate the invoice, not just to fetch it.
The agent cannot find the order
The agent needs the 3Dsellers order, which it looks up in your orders by buyer, date, SKU or the marketplace order number. Give it one of those details. Orders from another 3Dsellers company are never available.
The invoice shows old details
3Dsellers reused an invoice made earlier. Ask the agent to make a new invoice for the order.

Is this the same invoice as Orders > Print > Generate Invoice?
Yes - the AI agent gets the same 3Dsellers invoice that Orders > Print > Generate Invoice creates, from your invoice template.
Can my AI agent get eBay's own receipt?
No - the agent gets the 3Dsellers invoice, not the marketplace's receipt. eBay buyers can see eBay's receipt in their own eBay account.
Can I get the invoice as an image instead of a PDF?
Yes - ask the agent for an image too. It returns a JPEG of the first page of the invoice next to the PDF.
