Schedule Listings from the 3Dsellers Product Catalog

Set a future publish date when you send catalog products to a channel, then track, reschedule or cancel them in the Scheduled segment.

Written by Karolina Santiago

You can schedule a listing directly from the 3Dsellers Product Catalog. When you send products to a channel with Publish To Channel, turn on Schedule the publish and pick a date and time, and 3Dsellers holds the listing until then instead of publishing it immediately.

Scheduled products collect in a Scheduled segment in the Product Catalog, and each one shows a gray clock badge on the channel it is waiting to go live on. Before this, scheduling was only available in the Listing Tool.

Note: Scheduling from the Product Catalog is set per publish, not per product. The date you choose applies to the products selected in that one Publish To Channel action.

What scheduling from the Product Catalog does

Scheduling in the 3Dsellers Product Catalog delays one publish. You choose the products, the channel and all the usual publish settings, then add a date and time, and 3Dsellers publishes the listing for you when that moment arrives. Nothing goes to the channel before then.

While a product is waiting:

  • it appears in the Scheduled segment of your Product Catalog;

  • it shows a gray clock badge on the channel it is scheduled for, instead of the green "live" marker;

  • you can move the date or cancel it from Bulk Actions, without recreating the publish.

Where do I find the schedule option?

The schedule control lives inside the Publish To Channel flow in the 3Dsellers Product Catalog. It appears only after you pick a channel.

  1. Open Products in your 3Dsellers Product Catalog.

  2. Tick the products you want to publish.

  3. Click Publish To Channel in the toolbar above the product table.

  4. In the Publish Products to Channel dialog, choose your channel in the Channel dropdown. The rest of the form appears.

  5. Turn on Schedule the publish, near the bottom of the form, just above Advanced Settings.

  6. Click Select date and time and choose when the listing should go live.

  7. Click Schedule Publish.

💡 The primary button tells you which mode you are in. It reads Publish as Live while no date is set, and changes to Schedule Publish as soon as you choose one. If it still says Publish as Live, your date has not been picked up.

What the Publish Products to Channel dialog asks for

Scheduling does not replace any of the normal publish settings in the 3Dsellers Product Catalog. You still fill the same form, and the schedule is one extra switch on it.

Schedule the publish

A switch, off by default. Turning it on reveals a Select date and time field and shows your account's timezone underneath it, for example Timezone: Europe/Lisbon. The time you pick is read in that timezone, so enter the local wall-clock time you want the listing to go live.

The date and time picker

  • Dates before today are disabled and cannot be selected.

  • If you choose a date without touching the time, the time defaults to 00:00:00, which is midnight at the start of that day. Set the time explicitly if you want the listing to go live later in the day.

  • Now fills in the current date and time; OK confirms your choice.

Everything else on the form

The channel, the mapping template, the listing policies for Payment, Shipping and Returns, the listing design template and the Advanced Settings all behave exactly as they do for an immediate publish. The settings you choose are the ones used when the listing goes live, not the ones in force on the day you scheduled it.

How do I know a product is scheduled?

Two places in the 3Dsellers Product Catalog show it.

The Scheduled segment

A Scheduled segment appears in the left sidebar of Products, under All, with a count of how many products are waiting. Click it to see only those products. The segment hides itself when nothing is scheduled, so if you cannot see it, nothing is currently waiting to publish.

The gray clock badge

In the product row, the channel the product is scheduled for shows a gray clock badge instead of the usual live marker. Hovering it shows Scheduled to publish. A product can be live on one channel and scheduled on another at the same time, and the row shows both.

How do I change or cancel a scheduled publish?

Both are bulk actions in the 3Dsellers Product Catalog, so they work on one product or on many at once.

  1. Open the Scheduled segment in Products.

  2. Tick the products you want to change.

  3. Open Bulk Actions and go to Listings, or type "sched" in the bulk action search box.

  4. Choose Change Schedule Time to move the publish to a different date, or Remove from Scheduled to cancel it.

Remove from Scheduled cancels the scheduled publish. It does not end or delete anything that is already live on the channel, and it does not remove the product from your Product Catalog.

Product Catalog or Listing Tool: which should I use?

Both schedule a listing for a future date. The difference is where you start and what you are selecting.

If you manage your products in the 3Dsellers Product Catalog, scheduling from Publish To Channel keeps the whole flow in one place.

Limits

  • Scheduling from the 3Dsellers Product Catalog will not let you pick a date in the past. Past dates are disabled in the picker.

  • It will not show the scheduled date on the product row or in its tooltip.

  • It will not apply to products you did not select in that publish. Each Publish To Channel action carries its own date.

  • It will not schedule per channel within one action. Scheduling applies to the channel you selected in that dialog.

Troubleshooting

I do not see the "Schedule the publish" switch

The switch only renders after a channel is selected. Open the Channel dropdown at the top of the Publish Products to Channel dialog and pick your channel; the rest of the form, including Schedule the publish, appears below it. The switch sits between the listing design template row and Advanced Settings.

I cannot find the Scheduled segment

The Scheduled segment in the 3Dsellers Product Catalog only appears while at least one product is waiting to publish. If nothing is scheduled, the segment is hidden. Schedule a publish and it appears in the sidebar under All.

My listing went live at the wrong time

Check the timezone line under the date field. The time you pick is read in your account's timezone, shown as Timezone: followed by your zone. Also check the time itself: choosing a date without setting a time leaves it at 00:00:00, midnight at the start of that day, not the end.

The button still says "Publish as Live"

The primary button only changes to Schedule Publish once a date is actually selected. Turning the switch on is not enough. Click Select date and time, pick a date, and confirm it; the button label changes immediately.

Frequently asked questions

When exactly does a scheduled listing go live?

At the date and time you set, read in your 3Dsellers account's timezone, which is shown under the date field when you schedule. If you picked a date but not a time, it goes live at 00:00:00, midnight at the start of that day.

Can I schedule more than one product at a time?

Yes, scheduling from the 3Dsellers Product Catalog is a bulk action. Select as many products as you want before clicking Publish To Channel, and the date you choose applies to all of them in that publish.

Can I change the date after scheduling?

Yes. Select the products in the Scheduled segment and use Bulk Actions > Listings > Change Schedule Time. You do not need to cancel and recreate the publish.

How do I cancel a scheduled publish?

Select the products in the Scheduled segment and use Bulk Actions > Listings > Remove from Scheduled. This cancels the pending publish only; it does not affect listings that are already live.

Where can I see the date a product is scheduled for?

In Bulk Actions > Listings > Change Schedule Time, with the product selected in the Scheduled segment. The gray clock badge on the product row confirms that a product is scheduled but does not show the date.

Why can I not pick a date in the past?

Past dates are disabled in the picker on purpose. A publish date that has already passed has no meaning, so the 3Dsellers Product Catalog only offers today and future dates.

Can a product be live on one channel and scheduled on another?

Yes. Scheduling applies to the channel you selected in that Publish To Channel action, so a product row can show a live marker for one channel and a gray clock badge for another at the same time.
