Overview
Each product in your catalog can be connected to one or more sales channels (e.g. eBay, WooCommerce).
Next to each channel, you’ll see a status indicator (colored dot) that shows the current state of the listing.
These indicators help you quickly understand:
Whether a listing is live
If it requires action
If there are errors preventing it from being published
🟡 Yellow Dot — Pending / Not Yet Listed
A yellow dot means:
The product is not fully listed yet, or
It is in progress / pending publication
Common reasons:
Listing is still being prepared
Required fields are missing
Product was not published yet
What to do:
Open the listing
Complete required fields
Click Publish to Channel
🔴 Red Dot — Listing Error
A red dot means:
The listing has errors that prevent it from being published or updated
These errors usually come from the sales channel (e.g. eBay requirements).
Examples:
Missing required item specifics
Invalid category
Policy or field errors
You can click the listing to see:
Error message
Timestamp
“How to fix?” suggestion
Options to Dismiss Error or Republish
🟢 Green Dot — Active / Live Listing
A green dot means:
The product is successfully listed and live on the sales channel
What it indicates:
Listing is active
No blocking errors
Inventory and updates can sync normally
🟢🔴 Green + Red Dot — Live but Has Errors
In some cases, you may see both a green and a red dot for the same listing.
This means:
The listing is currently live on the channel (green)
But an error occurred during an update attempt (red)
What this usually means:
The listing was already published successfully
A recent change (price, inventory, item specifics, etc.) failed to update
The live listing may now be out of sync with your catalog
Example:
Missing required field during update
Invalid value sent to the channel
Category or policy mismatch
What to do:
Click the listing to view the error details
Fix the issue (e.g. add missing item specifics)
Click Revise to sync the update
🔗 Linked vs Unlinked Listings
Listings with green or red dots can also be:
🔗 Linked
Changes made in the Product Catalog will update the listing automatically
Recommended for centralized inventory and content management
🔓 Unlinked
The listing is not synced with the catalog
Changes in the catalog will not affect the listing
