Cross-List to Channel copies a listing that is already live on one of your connected accounts onto another connected account or channel in 3Dsellers, without rebuilding it by hand. You pick the destination account in the Cross-List dialog, choose its business policies, and 3Dsellers creates the new listing there from the original. Your original listing is never changed.

What does cross-listing do?
Cross-listing in 3Dsellers takes a listing that is live on a channel — for example an eBay US listing — and creates a copy of it as a new listing on a different connected account, such as your eBay Australia account, your Shopify store, or your WooCommerce store. The copy is built from the listing as it exists on the channel right now: title, description, images, price, SKU, variations and item details. Changes you have made in 3Dsellers but not yet published are not included.
Cross-List to Channel is a shortcut for one specific job: you already sell this item on one account and want to sell the same item on another account. It does not create a Product Catalog product, and it does not link the two listings afterwards — the copy is an independent listing on the destination account.
Same channel, different account (eBay account A → eBay account B): the copy lands complete and ready to publish.
Different channel (Shopify → eBay, eBay → WooCommerce): the copy is mapped through the destination account's mapping template, and fields the destination requires but the source does not have are filled by AI autofill or left for you to complete. See Cross-listing between different channels.
Where do I find Cross-List to Channel?
There are two places to start a cross-list in 3Dsellers. Both open the same Cross-List dialog and do the same thing.
From the Listings Manager (one or many listings)
Use this when you want to cross-list several listings at once, or when you work in the Old View editor.
Go to Listings & Products → Listings Manager and open the Active segment.
Tick the listings you want to copy. You can tick one, several, or select all.
Click Bulk Actions and choose Cross-List to Channel (in the Manage group of actions).
⚠️ Cross-List to Channel appears only for listings that are live on a channel. You will not see it in the 3Dsellers Drafts or Scheduled segments, because cross-listing reads the listing from the channel it is live on.
From inside a listing (New View editor)
Use this when you are already editing one listing and want to send it to another account.
Open a listing that is live on a channel in the New View editor.
In the action bar at the bottom of the editor, click Cross-List.
On a draft listing the Cross-List button is greyed out, and hovering it shows “This is available only for listings that are live on a channel”. Publish the draft first, then cross-list it.
⚠️ The editor button exists in the New View editor only. eBay listings may still open in the Old View by default — switch with the New View / Old View toggle at the top of the editor, or use the bulk action from the Listings Manager instead, which works from either view.
What does the Cross-List dialog ask for?
The Cross-List to Channel dialog uses the same layout as the Product Catalog's Publish to Channel dialog. It will not let you continue until the destination account has everything it needs to create a listing.
Channel — the destination account
The Channel list shows every account connected to your 3Dsellers company except the account the listing is already on. You cannot cross-list a listing onto its own account.
AI autofill missing fields — on by default
The AI autofill missing fields switch is on by default. When it is on, 3Dsellers fills in required destination-channel fields that the source listing does not carry — for example eBay item specifics for a listing coming from Shopify. If the destination channel rejects the listing because of an attribute value, the AI corrects that value and retries once.
Turn the switch off if you would rather fill missing fields yourself. With it off, a straight Cross-List can fail on required fields; use Edit Before Publish instead so you can complete them in the editor.
Listing policies — required for most channels
Choose the business policies the destination account should use. Which policies are required depends on the destination channel:

Until every required policy is chosen, both Cross-List and Edit Before Publish stay disabled, and hovering the button tells you which policy is missing. The policies you choose here replace the source listing's policies on the copy.
Listing design template (eBay destinations)
If your account has Listing Designer and the destination is an eBay account, you can switch on Listing design template and pick a template. The design is applied to the copy on the destination account. Leave it off to publish the copy without a design template.
Advanced Settings
In cross-list mode, Advanced Settings holds two options: a maximum quantity cap for the copy, and a custom SKU. The catalog-only options you may know from Publish to Channel (Listings Sync, Existing listing behaviour, Create and map categories) do not apply to cross-listing and are not shown.
Cross-List or Edit Before Publish — which should I use?
The Cross-List dialog offers two ways to send the listing to the destination account. Use this table to choose:

Cross-List — publish straight away
Cross-List queues the copy as a bulk action and publishes it to the destination account with the mapping template and policies you chose. You get a notification while it runs and another when it finishes: successful, partially successful (some listings in a bulk run succeeded and others did not) or failed.
The “cross-list complete” notification appears on the destination account — the account where the new listing now lives.
If an individual listing fails, the error is recorded on the source account, against the listing you started from, and the message names the destination account it was trying to reach. Look there first when a cross-list does not show up.
Edit Before Publish — review it first
Edit Before Publish stages the copy as a draft on the destination account instead of publishing it. 3Dsellers then switches your active account to the destination account and opens the new draft in the New View editor, where you can check the price, complete any required fields the destination channel needs, and publish when you are ready.
Edit Before Publish is offered for one listing at a time — inside the editor, or when exactly one row is ticked in the Listings Manager. With two or more rows ticked, only Cross-List is offered, because a draft is staged per listing.
Because your active account switches, the next thing you see belongs to the destination account. Use the account picker to switch back when you are done.
If you close the editor without publishing, the copy stays in the destination account's 3Dsellers Drafts. Nothing is lost and nothing is on sale.
What is copied, and what changes
Cross-List to Channel copies the listing's content but replaces the account-specific settings with the destination account's own. This is what happens to each part of the listing:

Prices and currency — read this one
⚠️ Cross-List to Channel does not convert prices between currencies. The price number is copied exactly. A listing at 10.99 USD cross-listed to an Australian account arrives as 10.99 AUD. The currency label follows the destination account, so the mismatch is visible in the copy — but the amount is carried across untouched. Check and edit the price every time you cross-list between countries.
Two safe ways to handle prices when you cross-list between countries in 3Dsellers:
Use Edit Before Publish. The copy opens as a draft on the destination account, already showing the destination currency, so you can correct the price before anything goes on sale.
Use a price formula in the destination's mapping template. A rule such as “price × 1.55” or a fixed markup applies to every listing cross-listed through that template, including bulk Cross-List runs. See Using Formulas in Rules.
Cross-listing between different channels
Cross-List to Channel works between different channels — for example Shopify → eBay, eBay → WooCommerce, or eBay → Etsy — not only between accounts on the same channel. When the destination channel differs from the source, 3Dsellers adjusts the copy so it is valid on the destination:
Category. The source channel's category does not exist on the destination, so it is dropped and the destination category comes from the destination account's mapping template, or from category automapping when the template has no rule for it.
Item condition (eBay destinations). Shopify and WooCommerce have no item condition. When the source has none, the copy on eBay is set to New. Change it in the mapping template or with Edit Before Publish if the item is not new.
Variation SKUs. eBay allows a SKU on the parent listing only; Shopify and WooCommerce need a SKU on every variant. When a variation has no SKU of its own, one is built from the parent SKU plus the variation's value — for example parent
ABC-123with size9.5becomesABC-123-9.5. Variations that already have a SKU are left alone.Required attributes and item specifics. Fields the destination requires but the source never had (for example eBay's Brand, Size or Colour for a Shopify product) are filled by AI autofill missing fields when it is on. To set a value once for every future cross-list, add it to the destination account's mapping template.
💡 For a single listing, the most reliable way to check a cross-channel copy is Edit Before Publish: the destination channel's own item specifics, category, price and policies are all editable in the draft before you publish.
Limits — what Cross-List will not do
It will not cross-list a draft or a scheduled listing. The listing must be live on a channel. Publish it first.
It will not cross-list a listing onto the account it is already on. That account is excluded from the Channel list.
It will not continue without a mapping template on the destination account, or without the destination channel's required policies.
It will not convert prices between currencies. The number is copied as is.
It will not change the original listing. The source stays exactly as it is, and the copy is not linked to it.
Edit Before Publish works on one listing at a time. For several listings at once, use Cross-List and review the copies on the destination account afterwards.
The editor button is New View only. In the Old View editor, use the bulk action from the Listings Manager.
Troubleshooting
I don't see Cross-List to Channel in Bulk Actions
Cross-List to Channel is shown only in segments where listings are live on a channel, such as Active. Open the Active segment of the Listings Manager. It does not appear in 3Dsellers Drafts or Scheduled.
The Cross-List button in the editor is greyed out
The Cross-List button is disabled on drafts, with the tooltip “This is available only for listings that are live on a channel”. Publish the listing, then cross-list it. If you do not see the button at all, you are in the Old View editor — switch to New View, or use the bulk action.
The dialog will not let me click Cross-List
The Cross-List and Edit Before Publish buttons stay disabled until the destination account has a mapping template and every required policy is chosen. Hover the disabled button — the tooltip names what is missing. If the dialog says the account has no mapping template, follow its Create a mapping template link, then reopen the dialog.
I cross-listed, but I cannot find the new listing
The copy lives on the destination account, so switch to that account with the account picker. A straight Cross-List creates it in that account's Active listings once the channel accepts it; Edit Before Publish creates it in that account's 3Dsellers Drafts until you publish. The completion notification also appears on the destination account.
The cross-list failed — where is the error?
Errors from a Cross-List are recorded on the source account, against the listing you cross-listed from, and the message starts with the destination account it was trying to reach — for example “Cross-list to topvid (AU): …”. Open that listing's errors on the source account to read the channel's reason.
The item specifics on the copy are wrong or missing
On a cross-channel copy, item specifics are filled from the destination's mapping template and, when it is on, by AI autofill. To fix one listing, use Edit Before Publish and edit the item specifics in the draft. To fix every future cross-list, set the value in the destination account's mapping template.
The price on the copy is wrong
Cross-List to Channel copies the price number without currency conversion, so a US listing at 10.99 arrives on an Australian account as 10.99 AUD. Edit the price in the copy, or use a price formula in the destination's mapping template so every cross-listed price is adjusted automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Does cross-listing change my original listing?
No — cross-listing never changes the original listing. Cross-List to Channel reads the listing as it is live on the source account and creates a separate new listing on the destination account. The original keeps its item ID, policies, store categories and price.
Can I cross-list to a different marketplace, not just another eBay account?
Yes — Cross-List to Channel works between different channels, for example from Shopify to eBay or from eBay to WooCommerce, as long as the destination account is connected to your 3Dsellers company and has a mapping template. Fields the destination requires are mapped through that template and, when AI autofill is on, filled by AI.
Can I cross-list many listings at once?
Yes — tick any number of listings in the Active segment of the Listings Manager and choose Bulk Actions → Cross-List to Channel. All of them are copied to the one destination account you choose in the dialog. Edit Before Publish, however, works only when exactly one listing is selected.
Does Cross-List to Channel convert the price to the destination currency?
No — Cross-List to Channel does not convert prices. The price number is copied exactly and only the currency label changes to the destination account's currency, so 10.99 USD becomes 10.99 AUD. Edit the price in the copy or use a price formula in the destination's mapping template.
Why am I suddenly on a different account after Edit Before Publish?
Edit Before Publish deliberately switches your active account to the destination account, because that is where the new draft lives, and opens the draft there for you to review. Use the account picker to switch back to your original account when you are done.
Are the two listings kept in sync afterwards?
No — the copy created by Cross-List to Channel is an independent listing on the destination account and is not linked to the original. If you want the same item managed together across channels, use the Product Catalog and publish to channels from there.
Why is Cross-List to Channel marked Beta?
Cross-List to Channel is marked Beta because it is a new feature that is still being refined, especially for cross-channel copies. It is safe to use — nothing is changed on the source listing — but we recommend cross-listing one or two items and checking the copies on the destination account before running it across your whole catalog.
