When to Use This
You're consolidating from multiple warehouses into one and need to clean up old warehouse assignments
A warehouse was created by mistake (e.g. during import) and needs to be removed from products
You want to transfer stock from a closing warehouse into your main warehouse
You need to reset inventory assignments after a major restructure
How to Use It
Go to Products Catalog and select the products you want to update
Click Bulk Actions → Remove Warehouse from Products
Select the warehouse(s) to remove
Choose a removal mode
Enable Include variations if needed
Confirm to apply
Removal Modes
Remove warehouse(s) and inventory — Deletes the warehouse and its quantity from the product entirely
Remove the warehouse(s) and transfer inventory to another warehouse — Moves the stock from the removed warehouse into a target warehouse before removing. The quantities are added together.
Remove the warehouse(s) and override inventory in another warehouse — Replaces the target warehouse's quantity with the removed warehouse's quantity instead of adding them together
Options
Include variations — Also removes the warehouse from child SKUs
Use Case Examples
Example 1: Consolidate two warehouses into one
You're closing your secondary warehouse. Select all products that have the secondary warehouse assigned, choose "Transfer inventory to another warehouse", select your main warehouse, and confirm. All stock moves over and the secondary warehouse is removed.
Example 2: Clean up auto-created warehouses from import
An import created a warehouse called "Arundel_West_Sussex" automatically for each product. You don't want this — just the Default warehouse. Select all affected products, choose "Remove warehouse and inventory", and confirm. Only the Default warehouse remains.
Example 3: Override inventory during a stock reset
You're doing a full stock reset and want the new count (from a different warehouse) to replace the old one entirely — not add to it. Use "Override inventory in another warehouse" to replace the current quantity.
⚠️ This action cannot be undone. Make sure you've selected the correct warehouse and removal mode before confirming. This action will not apply to bundle products.
