You can easily remove images from your listings in bulk using a CSV file. This is especially useful when managing large catalogs.
Step 1: Prepare Your CSV File
Your file should include:
SKU / Item ID (to identify the listing)
Image columns (e.g.,
image_url_1,image_url_2, etc.)
To remove an image, simply enter:
{DELETE}in the image column you want to clear.
Example:
SKU | image_url_1 | image_url_2 | image_url_3 |
TEST-304 | https://... | {DELETE} | {DELETE} |
In this example:
Image 2 and Image 3 will be removed from the listing
Step 2: Upload the File
Go to CSV Import
Click Update Listings
Select Update Active Listings
Upload your CSV file
Step 3: Map Your Fields
Make sure your CSV columns are mapped correctly:
SKU → SKU
Image columns → Image 1, Image 2, etc.
Double-check that:
Each image column matches the correct field
{DELETE}is entered exactly (case-sensitive)
💡 Important:
If you leave a field as “Don’t import”, the system will not modify that image column at all.
This means any existing images in those positions will remain unchanged.
Step 4: (Optional) Use Fallback to Delete Images
You can also use the Fallback field to apply {DELETE} without needing it in your CSV.
This is useful when:
You want to remove the same image position across multiple listings
Your CSV does not include all image columns
How to use:
In the Fallback column, enter:
{DELETE}for the image field you want to remove (e.g., Image 2, Image 3)
💡 The fallback applies when:
The CSV value is missing or
You want to enforce a constant value across all rows
Step 5: Start Import
Click Start Import
The system will update your live listings and remove the selected images
Important Notes
This action updates active listings directly
Only the image columns with
{DELETE}will be affectedOnly the image columns mapped will be affected
Other images will remain unchanged
Make sure your SKU values match exactly with your listings
