1. What is FBA and What is MCF?
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is Amazon’s fulfillment program, where Amazon stores, packs, and ships products for sellers. This allows sellers to provide Prime-level speed and reliability without handling logistics themselves.
Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) in 3Dsellers lets you extend that same capability beyond Amazon: you can use your FBA inventory to fulfill orders placed on other channels like eBay, Shopify, or Walmart. When an order comes in from one of those channels, MCF automatically routes it to Amazon FBA for fulfillment.
2. How 3Dsellers Supports FBA Products
When you connect your Amazon account in 3Dsellers:
An FBA warehouse is automatically created in your account.
3Dsellers listens to Amazon FBA inventory updates in real time.
If a product has FBA stock, that stock is automatically assigned to the FBA warehouse in 3Dsellers.
⚠️ Important: FBA inventory cannot be manually edited in 3Dsellers — it always syncs directly from Amazon.
This ensures your product catalog always reflects accurate inventory levels from Amazon.
3. FBA Automation: Settings and Behavior
Turning on Automation
Go to Products Catalog > Integrations > Channel Settings.
Open your Amazon integration settings.
Toggle Enable FBA order fulfillment automation.
Choose your shipping method (e.g., Standard Shipping).
(Optional) Configure:
Block Amazon Logistics carrier if you want shipments routed through other carriers.
Use unbranded packaging for a neutral delivery experience.
Decide whether to:
Fulfill FBA orders for all channels, or
Select specific channels where automation should apply.
What Happens When Automation is On
Orders from your selected channels are automatically routed to Amazon FBA for fulfillment.
Tracking updates flow back into 3Dsellers and sync with the original order.
The channel is treated as eligible to sell against your FBA stock.
ℹ️ Note: this is separate from inventory tracking. FBA stock is tracked in 3Dsellers automatically for every connected Amazon account regardless of this setting (see section 2 above). This toggle controls which channels are allowed to sell against that stock and have resulting orders auto-fulfilled by Amazon — not whether the stock itself is tracked.
What Happens When Automation is Off or Excluded
If automation is disabled (globally or for a specific channel), that channel is not offered your FBA stock as sellable quantity, since 3Dsellers can't auto-fulfill an order from there via FBA.
Example:
You have 50 FBA units in Amazon.
If automation is off for Shopify, your Shopify listing will show 0 units for that product to prevent overselling something you can't fulfill there.
This gives you control over which channels can sell against your FBA stock.
Conclusion: Why This Matters
With 3Dsellers’ Amazon MCF, you can:
Automatically sync and route orders from multiple channels to Amazon FBA.
Keep inventory accurate across platforms without manual updates.
Choose exactly where your FBA inventory is offered.
Deliver a consistent customer experience with Prime-speed fulfillment, even off Amazon.
In short, Amazon MCF through 3Dsellers helps sellers expand sales channels, save time, and leverage the reliability of FBA everywhere they sell.
Additional Fulfillment Options
Beyond Amazon MCF, 3Dsellers also supports Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS), enabling automatic order routing to Walmart's fulfillment network for efficient processing. This expands the choices sellers have for integrating their e-commerce operations with third-party fulfillment services.
