What is an eBay Access Token?
eBay "IAF Token" is a unique password that allows third-party software to connect to your eBay account.
How do tokens expire or become invalid?
eBay expires a token automatically 18 months after the last time it was renewed.
Or, eBay software changes have been reported to disconnect tokens.
What happens to apps when the IAF token is invalid?
3Dsellers token: Most features on 3Dsellers will stop working.
eBay App token: Cannot log in or use the eBay app.
Other software: Features will not work.
How to fix IAF Token Expired:
Option 1: Refresh token on 3Dsellers
To refresh your token with 3Dsellers, you can either:
Use eBay to log into 3Dsellers,
or visit your eBay accounts use the Sync button in the Actions column.
Option 2: Manually remove the token and get a new one.
For iPhone: If having issues with the eBay Mobile App token, log out of the eBay App first. Once you complete the steps below, wait 10 min and log back into the eBay App.
Navigate to My eBay → Account → Site Preferences
Near the bottom of the page, click "Edit" next to "Third Party Authorizations"
Check the "Revoke this authorization" box next to 3Dsellers or other software and apply.
Log in to 3Dsellers and renew your token as shown in Option 1)
