Connect Amazon Account to 3Dsellers (Seller Central)

Add your Amazon seller account to 3Dsellers from Integrations: pick one of 21 Amazon marketplaces and approve access in Seller Central.

Written by Amit Fidelman

To connect an Amazon account to 3Dsellers, open Integrations, go to Amazon Accounts, click Add Amazon Account, choose your Amazon marketplace and click Add. 3Dsellers sends you to Amazon to sign in and accept sharing access. You never type an MWS token, a Seller ID or your Amazon password into 3Dsellers.

⚠️ In 3Dsellers, use Add Amazon Account to connect a seller account for the first time. The globe icon in the Actions column (Add another Amazon marketplace for the same account) adds a marketplace to the account that row already uses, with no new Amazon sign-in. It cannot connect a different Amazon seller account.

💡 3Dsellers opens Amazon in a pop-up window, so allow pop-ups for 3Dsellers before you start. Have the login for the Amazon seller account you want to connect ready.

Where do I connect Amazon in 3Dsellers?

  2. Click the amazon card. Under it you see how many accounts are connected, for example "1 account". You can also click Amazon Accounts in the menu on the left.

How do I connect my Amazon account?

These steps connect an Amazon seller account to 3Dsellers for the first time.

  1. On the Amazon Accounts page of 3Dsellers, click Add Amazon Account. The dialog Add an Amazon account opens.

  2. Under Choose your Amazon marketplace:, pick the marketplace where you sell. The default is United States of America. The next section lists every choice.

  3. Read the message in the dialog: "On the next step we will redirect you to Amazon. Please press accept to share your token with us." Click Add to continue, or Cancel to stop. The dialog does not close when you click outside it.

  4. A window from Amazon opens. Sign in with the seller account you want to connect and accept the request to share access with 3Dsellers. If your browser blocks the pop-up, 3Dsellers opens Amazon in the same tab instead.

  5. When the Amazon window closes or you return to 3Dsellers, the Amazon Accounts table reloads. If the table does not update, reload the page.

What happens after I connect Amazon?

Your Amazon account appears as a row in the Amazon Accounts table in 3Dsellers. The columns are Username, Currency, Display Name, Marketplace, Multichannel Catalog, Helpdesk, Email, Last Token Refresh, Date Added, Token Status and Actions.

  • Token Status shows whether the connection works. A warning triangle next to Invalid means the connection needs to be renewed. The next sections explain how.

  • Last Token Refresh shows a date for the account's token.

  • Actions holds the buttons for that account: Renew Token (only when it is needed), the globe, the resync icon, Email Forwarding and the trash icon.

Amazon is one of the channels you can publish Product Catalog items to in 3Dsellers. For the next step, see Publishing Products to Amazon with GTIN Exemption in 3Dsellers.

How do I add another Amazon marketplace to the same account?

Use the globe icon in the Actions column of 3Dsellers when the same Amazon seller account also sells in another marketplace. Hover over the globe to see the tooltip "Add another Amazon marketplace for the same account".

  1. On the Amazon Accounts page, find the account in the table and click the globe icon in its Actions column.

  2. In the dialog Add Marketplace, choose the marketplace under Choose the marketplace that you would like to add:.

  3. Click Add. There is no Amazon sign-in this time: 3Dsellers associates the new marketplace with the token of the account you started from.

How do I renew the Amazon connection?

When the Token Status of an Amazon account in 3Dsellers is Invalid, click Renew Token in its Actions column. Its tooltip reads "Renew token now to avoid service interruption". You sign in to Amazon again and accept access, the same way as when you first connected.

⭐ If 3Dsellers shows the message "Token is invalid" with the buttons I'll do it later and Renew Token, choose Renew Token and sign in to Amazon.

How do I remove an Amazon account from 3Dsellers?

Click the trash icon in the Actions column. Its tooltip reads "Remove Account from 3Dsellers". 3Dsellers asks you to confirm: "Are you sure you want to remove the account ... from 3Dsellers?" and warns that disconnecting the account removes any settings associated with it from 3Dsellers. Click Yes, remove to continue or Cancel to keep the account.

If it is your last connected account, 3Dsellers adds that this action does not disable your subscription. To cancel the subscription, use the billing page.

Troubleshooting

Nothing happened when I clicked Add

Your browser may have blocked the Amazon pop-up. Allow pop-ups for 3Dsellers and try again. If pop-ups are blocked, 3Dsellers opens Amazon in the same tab instead, so look for the Amazon sign-in page there.

I signed in to the wrong Amazon account

Close the Amazon window without accepting, then click Add Amazon Account in 3Dsellers again and sign in with the seller account you want to connect. If the wrong account was already added, it appears in the Amazon Accounts table, where you can remove it with the trash icon.

3Dsellers is asking for an MWS token

3Dsellers does not ask for an MWS token, a Seller ID or an Amazon password. Connect with Add Amazon Account and sign in on the Amazon window. Old instructions that mention MWS tokens no longer apply.

I see "Account Already Exists" or "Account with marketplace already exists"

3Dsellers already has that Amazon marketplace for the account. The messages ask you to remove the existing account or delete it first, or to contact support. Check the Marketplace column of the table before adding it again.

The Token Status says Invalid

Click Renew Token in the Actions column and sign in to Amazon again. Do not delete the account: removing it also removes its 3Dsellers settings.

My Amazon marketplace is not in the list

The 3Dsellers list has 21 Amazon marketplaces in North America, Europe and the Far East. 3Dsellers cannot connect a marketplace that is not in it from this dialog.

I used the globe and my other Amazon seller account did not connect

The globe icon in 3Dsellers adds a marketplace to the account of that row and reuses its token. To connect a different Amazon seller account, use Add Amazon Account and sign in with that seller account.
