How to connect Claude to 3Dsellers

Add the 3Dsellers connector to Claude in two minutes, sign in, and ask Claude to manage your eBay, Amazon, Etsy and Shopify listings, orders and inventory.

Written by Karolina Santiago

To connect Claude to 3Dsellers, add the 3Dsellers connector from Claude's connector directory, sign in with your 3Dsellers account and turn the connector on in a chat. It takes about two minutes, needs no token and no code, and works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and Cowork. Once connected, Claude can read and update your eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify and other channel listings, orders and inventory through your 3Dsellers account.

💡 3Dsellers is an official Claude integration, listed in Claude's connector directory. Prefer to add it by hand? The server URL is https://api.3dsellers.com/mcp and the steps are below.

In this article:

What you need

  • A 3Dsellers account (the free trial works).

  • A Claude account at claude.ai, or the Claude Desktop app. Connectors are turned on per chat or per Project.

  • No token. Connecting Claude uses a sign-in, so you never copy anything from the 3Dsellers API/MCP page.

How do I add 3Dsellers to Claude?

  1. Open the 3Dsellers connector in Claude's directory and click Connect. You can also get there inside Claude from Settings or Customize > Connectors > Browse connectors, then search for 3Dsellers.

  2. Sign in to your 3Dsellers account when Claude asks, and approve access.

  3. Start a chat (or open a Project), click + > Connectors and turn 3Dsellers on.

  4. Ask Claude: "What 3Dsellers tools do you have access to?" to confirm the connection.

The directory listing is marked Community. That is expected: it means the connector is built and maintained by 3Dsellers rather than by Anthropic.

You can also start from 3Dsellers: open Settings > Profile > API / MCP (app.3dsellers.com/api-mcp) and click Add to Claude. It opens the same connector page in Claude.

How do I add 3Dsellers as a custom connector instead?

If you prefer not to use the directory, add the server yourself. Claude gets exactly the same tools either way.

  1. In Claude, open Settings > Connectors and click Add custom connector.

  2. Name it 3Dsellers and paste the server URL: https://api.3dsellers.com/mcp

  3. Save, then sign in with your 3Dsellers account and approve access.

  4. Turn the connector on in a chat from + > Connectors.

Using Claude Code in a terminal instead? That path uses a token: see How to connect Claude Code to 3Dsellers.

Where are the "with Claude" buttons in 3Dsellers?

3Dsellers has with Claude buttons in the parts of the app that take the most setup: Create with Claude in Listings > Create Listing and Product Catalog > New Product, Import with Claude on the CSV Import pages, Build with Claude in Automations, Map with Claude in Mapping Templates and Ask Claude in Orders. Each one opens Claude with a ready-made request for that page. If Claude is not connected yet, the button first shows the Connect Claude to 3Dsellers dialog with a Continue to Claude button that takes you to step 1 above.

What can I ask Claude once it is connected?

Start by asking Claude what it can do: "What 3Dsellers tools do you have access to?" It reads the tool list and explains each one in plain language. Then try requests like these:

  • "What sold today across all my channels?"

  • "Create an eBay listing for a used Canon EOS R6 body in good condition, $1,450, with my standard shipping policy. Show me the draft first."

  • "Which of my listings have errors, and what do the errors say?"

  • "Which products are below 5 units in stock? Update the Blue Hoodie, size M, to 20."

  • "Tag every unshipped order over $100 as priority."

Tip: add "show me first, don't change anything yet" to a request. Claude then describes what it plans to change in 3Dsellers and waits for your approval before it runs the tool.

Frequently asked questions

Does connecting Claude to 3Dsellers cost extra?

No - the MCP connection is included in every 3Dsellers plan, including the free trial. Reading your data (orders, listings, inventory, reports) is free. Actions that Claude runs in your account, such as publishing a listing or updating prices, use AI actions, which you buy in advance in the AI Lite, AI Pro or AI Elite package.

Is it safe to give Claude access to my 3Dsellers account?

Yes - Claude never sees your eBay, Amazon or other marketplace passwords. It connects to 3Dsellers with a sign-in (OAuth), can only use the tools the 3Dsellers MCP server exposes, and asks for your approval before it runs any tool that changes data. You can disconnect it at any time: in 3Dsellers open Settings > Profile > API / MCP (app.3dsellers.com/api-mcp), find the Claude entry in Issued tokens and click Revoke. Claude loses access on its next request.

Does Claude work with all my channels?

Yes - one connection covers every channel connected to your 3Dsellers account: eBay, Amazon, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, TikTok Shop and any other channel you have added. If you have more than one seller account, ask Claude to "list my sellers" and include the seller ID in a request to scope it to one account.

Is 3Dsellers an official Claude integration?

Yes - 3Dsellers is listed in Claude's connector directory. The integration is built and maintained by 3Dsellers, which is why the listing carries the Community label, and it works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Cowork and Claude Code.

Claude says it cannot reach 3Dsellers. What do I check?

First make sure the connector is switched on in the chat you are using (+ > Connectors); it is turned on per chat or Project. If you added it as a custom connector, check that the URL is exactly https://api.3dsellers.com/mcp with no trailing slash. If it still fails, open Settings > Profile > API / MCP in 3Dsellers, check that the Claude token is still Active on the Tokens tab, and look at the Requests tab for an error message.
