Keyword scores and competitor titles are pulled from eBay live, every time you search, so the same keywords can return different scores on different days.
The 3Dsellers eBay Title Builder does not change your eBay listings and does not publish anything. It gives you a title to copy. Paste it into your eBay listing, or into the title field in 3Dsellers Listings (see Bulk Edit Titles and Descriptions for editing many titles at once).
Where do I find the eBay Title Builder?
Open 3dsellers.com/free-tools/ebay-title-builder in any browser, or go to 3dsellers.com and open Free Tools in the menu.
Scroll to Search Keywords or Title. The tool is on the page itself - there is nothing to install and no login.

How do I search for keywords or optimize a title?
In Search Keywords or Title (1), type two to four main keywords that describe your item, for example nike air max 90. To optimize a title you already use, paste the whole title instead.
Under Filters, pick the eBay Site you sell on. Fifteen marketplaces are available: eBay USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Singapore and Hong Kong. Keywords and competition differ between sites, so choose the one you list on.
Optional: set a Price Range (from - to) so the competitor items and keywords come from listings in your price band.
Optional: tick Free Shipping Only or New Condition Only to limit the competitor listings the keywords are taken from.
Click Search (2). A spinner shows while the tool fetches live data from eBay; the results appear below the form.
The filters sit right under the search box - eBay Site (1), Price Range (2) and the condition and shipping checkboxes (3):
⭐ Two to four keywords works best. If the tool finds fewer than 10 competitor items it says Not seeing enough results? Try using at least 2 keywords, or remove extra words from the search. - too many words narrows the match on eBay.
What do the results show?
After a search, the results block has four parts, top to bottom:

The suggested title and Copy
Suggested 3Dsellers eBay Title is the 3Dsellers eBay Title Builder's own proposal, generated from what the top-ranking listings for your search call the item, and always inside eBay's 80-character limit. It is written to read like a title, not a keyword list - in our test search for nike air max 90 on eBay USA it returned Nike Air Max 90 Men's Shoes, 27 of 80 characters, with the count shown at the right end of the field. The field is read-only; to extend it with more of the top keywords and phrases, build your own version in Write a Custom Title below it.
Click Copy (1) to the right of the suggested title. The button reads Copied for a moment and the title is on your clipboard.
Paste it into your eBay listing title, or into the title field of the listing in 3Dsellers.
Keywords Ranking: scores, sorting and removing keywords
Keywords Ranking, on the right of the results, lists every keyword the tool found in the top listings for your search, with a Score next to each. The score is a percentage: the share of the top listings sampled for your search (300 in our test - the ? tooltip states the exact number) whose title contains that keyword. 100% means every top listing uses the word. In our test Air and Max scored 100%, Nike 99%, Men's 77% and Running 15%. The list opens sorted by score, highest first.
How do I sort the keywords?
Click the Keyword header (1) to sort A to Z; click it again for Z to A. Click Score (2) to sort by score; each click flips the direction, and the small arrow shows which way the list is sorted. Sorting only reorders the list - it does not search again.
How do I remove a keyword that does not fit my item?
Hover a row and a ✕ appears at its right edge. Click it to drop the keyword from the list. This only tidies the list on your screen; the suggested title above does not change, and the keyword comes back if you search again.
Top Phrases: the word combinations buyers search
Under the Keywords Ranking, Top Phrases lists the two- and three-word combinations the top listings for your search use most, with the same percentage score. Buyers search phrases rather than loose words, and eBay ranks an exact phrase match higher than the same words scattered through a title, so keeping a product name such as Air Max 90 intact matters. In our test the list had 15 phrases, from Air Max at 100% and Air Max 90 at 97% down to Max 90 Drift at 5%.
Scroll down the right column past the Keywords Ranking to Top Phrases.
Click a phrase (1) and the whole phrase is added to Write a Custom Title, followed by a space. The counter updates, and the field stops at 80 characters.
Combine phrases with single keywords from the ranking above to fill the title in the order you want.
How do I write a custom title with the 80-character counter?
In Keywords Ranking, click a keyword (1) - or a whole phrase in Top Phrases. It is added to the end of Write a Custom Title (2), followed by a space, and the counter updates.
Keep clicking keywords in the order you want them in the title. You can also type directly in the field to add words the ranking does not have, or to fix the order.
Watch the counter: it shows how many of the 80 characters you have used, for example 25/80. The field stops accepting text at 80 characters.
Need more keywords than the lists show? Search again with a different set of two to four keywords - the new ranking and phrases replace the lists, and your Custom Title keeps what you already added.
Click Copy next to the Custom Title and paste it into your listing.

Top 10 Items: what the best sellers call the same item
Top 10 Items lists the ten competitor listings the keywords were taken from, ranked by total sales amount - the listings that sold the most, first. Each row shows the listing photo, its full title and its Average Price. Click a title to open that listing on eBay in a new tab.
Use this list two ways: read how the top sellers name the same item (which words they lead with, which attributes they include), and check where your price lands against theirs. When fewer than ten listings match, the heading says how many were found (for example Top 6 Items or Only One Top Item); when none match it says No Matching Top Items.
How do I write an eBay title that ranks?
eBay's search engine (Cassini) matches free-text searches mainly against the listing title, so these are the rules the Title Builder page recommends:
Use the 80 characters. eBay allows 80 characters on every marketplace, spaces and punctuation included, at no extra charge. Titles under 75 characters leave searchable terms unused.
Lead with brand, product line and model number, then the attributes buyers filter by: size, colour, material, quantity, condition. Keep multi-word product names together - a matched phrase ranks better than the same words scattered.
Do not repeat words. Men's, mens and men in one title spend 12 characters to say one thing; the same goes for new and NEW.
Only keywords that describe the item. Brands the item is not, unrelated keywords, filler such as L@@K or WOW, and free shipping are wasted characters - and keyword manipulation can get a listing demoted under eBay's search manipulation policy.
Special characters ( - + , ~ ) have no effect on search results; use them only for readability. Plural and singular are the same to eBay search.
Capitalize the first letter of nouns and adjectives, not whole words.
💡 Item specifics are matched separately from the title. Fill in every item specific eBay offers, and still spend the 80 title characters on the terms buyers type.
Limits
It will not accept more than 80 characters in the Custom Title field - eBay's maximum.
It works for eBay only, on 15 marketplaces: eBay USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Australia, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Singapore and Hong Kong.
It will not publish or edit a listing. Copy the title and paste it where you list.
Results are live: the suggested title, scores and Top 10 Items can change between searches as eBay's listings change.
Removing a keyword with ✕ only tidies your screen; it does not recompute the suggested title.
Scores describe the top listings the tool sampled for your search (300 in our test), not all of eBay - the active listings compete line shows the full count.
Troubleshooting
"Not seeing enough results?" or "No Matching Top Items"
Fewer than ten competitor listings matched your words on the selected eBay site. Use two to four keywords instead of a long phrase, remove words that are too specific (a colour, a size), check the eBay Site filter, and widen or clear the Price Range. Then click Search again.
The suggested title is empty after I click Search
The search is still running while the spinner shows next to the Search button - wait for it to finish. If it finishes with no title, the search found no matching listings: change the keywords or the eBay site and search again.
Copy does not seem to do anything
The button changes to Copied for about three seconds when the title is on your clipboard. If it does not change, click directly on the Copy button (not the text field), or select the title text and copy it with your keyboard.
The counter shows more than 80
The counter previews the length as you click keywords. The field itself stops at 80 characters, so a title longer than 80 has to be shortened before you copy it - remove the weakest words or the repeats.

80 characters on every eBay marketplace, and spaces and punctuation count. The Title Builder's suggested title stays inside 80, and the Custom Title field stops accepting text at 80.
What does the keyword score mean?
The score is a percentage: the share of the top listings sampled for your search whose title contains that keyword or phrase - 100% means every top listing uses it. The tooltip next to Keywords Ranking states how many listings were sampled (300 in our test). Scores are relative to each search, so compare them within one result list, not between searches.
Where does the data come from?
From eBay, live, every time you search: the top listings for your keywords on the eBay site you picked, filtered by the price range and options you set. The tool derives the keyword and phrase scores, the suggested title, the Top 10 Items and the competing-listings count from those listings.
Does the Title Builder change my eBay listings?
No - it only proposes a title. Copy it and paste it into your listing on eBay or in 3Dsellers; nothing is published or edited by the tool.
