3Dsellers can create a paid Shopify order automatically every time a new order comes in on one of your other channels, such as eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, WooCommerce or TikTok. Since November 2026 you turn this on with one setting in the Shopify account's Channel Settings, under Fulfill Orders from All Your Channels on Shopify. It is off by default, it is saved per Shopify store, and it replaces the old Create Shopify Order action in Orders > Automations.
⚠️ Create Shopify Order is no longer offered as an action in 3Dsellers Order Automations. If you built that automation before, it keeps working and now shows up as this Channel Settings option on the Shopify store it creates orders in. Manage it from Channel Settings from now on.

How does creating Shopify orders from other channels work?
When Fulfill Orders from All Your Channels on Shopify is set to create orders, 3Dsellers watches the orders that arrive from every channel connected to your account other than Shopify. For each new order it creates a matching paid order in the Shopify store you chose. Line items are matched to your Shopify products by SKU; an item whose SKU does not exist in Shopify is added as a custom line item, so nothing is dropped. 3Dsellers records which marketplace order the Shopify order came from, and keeps the Shopify order's status in sync with the original order.
Shopify then does what it always does with a paid order: your fulfillment app, 3PL or warehouse sees it, and Shopify deducts the stock. If you also tick the tracking option, shipping the order in Shopify sends the tracking number back to the original channel and marks that order as shipped.
Where do I find the setting?
The setting is part of the Shopify account's Catalog Channel Settings, the same window that holds Price Sync and Inventory Updates. Its title reads “Shopify integrations settings for” followed by your store name.
Open Product Catalog from the left menu of 3Dsellers.
In the Product Catalog left menu, scroll to Integrations and find the row of your Shopify store.
Click the gear at the end of the row (tooltip “Channel Settings”).
Scroll to the last section, Fulfill Orders from All Your Channels on Shopify.
You can also open the same window from Settings > Integrations > your Shopify accounts page, with the Settings button in the Multichannel Catalog column. The other ways in are listed in Catalog Channel Settings: Price & Inventory Sync.
How do I turn on Shopify order creation?
The section reads “When an order is received on any of your other channels (eBay, Amazon, Etsy, etc.):” and offers two choices.
Open Channel Settings for the Shopify store that should receive the orders.
Under Fulfill Orders from All Your Channels on Shopify, select “Create the order on Shopify [store name] and keep its status in sync.” The default is “Don't create the order on Shopify [store name].”
Optional: tick “When you ship it on Shopify, send the tracking number back and mark it as shipped on the original channel.” The box appears only once the create option is selected.
Click Save at the bottom right. Nothing changes until you save; Cancel or closing the window discards your choice.
💡 The setting is saved per Shopify store. If you have more than one Shopify store connected to 3Dsellers, turn it on only on the store that should fulfill the orders.
From the moment you save, every new order that arrives on your other channels is created in that Shopify store, usually within a few minutes. Orders that were received before you turned the setting on are not created retroactively.
Does the tracking number go back to eBay or Amazon?
Yes, when the box “When you ship it on Shopify, send the tracking number back and mark it as shipped on the original channel.” is ticked. After you fulfill the mirrored order in Shopify with a tracking number, 3Dsellers writes the tracking number and carrier to the matching order on the original channel (eBay, Amazon, Etsy and so on) and marks it as shipped there, so the buyer gets the marketplace's shipping notification. Leave the box unticked if you prefer to add tracking to the marketplace order yourself, for example from the 3Dsellers Orders page or by CSV.
What happened to the Create Shopify Order automation?
Until November 2026 you created Shopify orders from other channels with a rule in Orders > Automations, using the action Create Shopify Order. That action has been removed from the Action list. The reason is safety: a rule set to All Channels could pick up the Shopify order it had just created and copy it again, and a per-store setting cannot do that.
An existing Create Shopify Order rule keeps running. Its state is now shown by the Channel Settings option on the Shopify store it points to, and that option is where you switch it off or on.
The filters and the trigger you could set on the old rule no longer apply. The setting covers every order from every other channel.
The other automation actions (Send Email, Send eBay Invoice, Add or Remove Order Tags, Notes) are unchanged. See Order Automations: Tags, Emails and eBay Invoices.
Example use cases
Centralized fulfillment: you ship everything through Shopify, no matter where the sale happened. eBay, Amazon and Etsy orders land in Shopify automatically so your 3PL or warehouse sees them in one place.
Inventory kept in Shopify: Shopify deducts stock when the mirrored order is created, so your Shopify quantities stay right across channels.
Reporting: all your multichannel sales show up in Shopify's reports as paid orders.
What the setting does not do
It does not copy Shopify orders. Orders that are placed on Shopify itself are never mirrored, and orders created by this setting are not copied a second time.
It does not let you pick which orders to copy. There are no filters by SKU, country or order value; every order from every other channel is created in Shopify.
It does not create orders that arrived before you saved the setting.
It does not send tracking back unless the tracking box is ticked and the Shopify fulfillment carries a tracking number.
Troubleshooting
My eBay orders are not showing up in Shopify
Open Channel Settings for the Shopify store and check that Fulfill Orders from All Your Channels on Shopify is on “Create the order on Shopify…” and that you clicked Save. Then make sure the eBay (or other) account is still connected and importing orders into 3Dsellers; an order that never reaches the 3Dsellers Orders page cannot be copied. Give a new order a few minutes before checking Shopify.
The Shopify order has a custom line item instead of my product
Line items are matched by SKU. When the SKU on the marketplace order does not exist on a Shopify product, 3Dsellers adds the item as a custom line item so the order is still complete. Give the Shopify product the same SKU as the marketplace listing and future orders will match.
I shipped in Shopify but eBay still shows the order as not shipped
Check that the box “When you ship it on Shopify, send the tracking number back…” is ticked and saved, and that the Shopify fulfillment includes a tracking number. Without a tracking number there is nothing to send back.
I can't find Create Shopify Order in Orders > Automations
The action was removed in November 2026. Use the Channel Settings option described above instead; it does the same job per Shopify store.
FAQ
Is the Shopify order created as paid?
Yes. 3Dsellers creates the mirrored order in Shopify as a paid order, so it appears ready to fulfill and Shopify deducts the stock.
Can I create Shopify orders from Amazon, Etsy or Walmart orders, not only eBay?
Yes. The setting applies to orders received on any channel connected to your 3Dsellers account other than Shopify: eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, TikTok and others.
Can I limit it to certain orders or SKUs?
No. The Channel Settings option has no filters; it creates a Shopify order for every order from your other channels. The old automation's filters are no longer available.
I had the Create Shopify Order automation before. Do I need to set anything up again?
No. Your existing rule keeps running, and the Channel Settings option on that Shopify store now shows and controls it. Open Channel Settings once to confirm the option and the tracking box are set the way you want, then click Save.
How do I stop creating Shopify orders?
Open Channel Settings for the Shopify store, select “Don't create the order on Shopify…” and click Save. Orders already created in Shopify stay there.
