With the 3Dsellers Catalog, you can quickly import your existing eBay listings and publish them to Shopify in just a few clicks.
The system automatically imports your listing data, organizes it into catalog products, and prepares everything for publishing to other channels.
This guide will walk you through the simple process.
Step 1 — Import Your eBay Listings to the Catalog
First, import your existing eBay listings into the 3Dsellers Catalog.
You can import one listing or multiple listings at once.
Go to Listings & Products → Active Listings
Select the listings you want to import
Click Bulk Actions
Choose Import Products to Catalog
You can also import a single listing by clicking Import to Catalog inside the listing row.
Once selected, the import settings popup will open.
Step 2 — Confirm Import Settings
When importing listings, you can configure how products will be created and matched in the catalog.
By default, 3Dsellers matches listings by SKU.
This means:
Listings with the same SKU will be merged into a single catalog product
That product will then be linked to all the listings that share that SKU
This allows you to manage multiple listings as one product inside the catalog.
For example:
eBay Listings | SKU | Catalog Result |
Listing A | ABC123 | Product ABC123 |
Listing B | ABC123 | Product ABC123 |
Listing C | ABC123 | Product ABC123 |
All three listings will be connected to one catalog product.
This helps keep your catalog organized and makes it easier to publish products to other channels.
The system will import:
SKU
Images
Titles
Descriptions
Pricing
Categories
Tags
Inventory
Item specifics
In most cases, you can simply click Import and let the system handle everything automatically.
Step 3 — Products Are Now in Your Catalog
After the import is completed, the products will appear in the Catalog Products page.
You will also see that each listing now has a Mapping Template associated with it.
This template defines how catalog data will be sent to other channels like Shopify.
Step 4 — Verify Categories (Recommended)
When listings are imported:
The system automatically creates catalog categories
AI automatically maps them to channel categories
However, it is recommended to quickly verify that the categories mapping are correct.
You can check them here:
Catalog → Products Settings → Category Mapping
Correct category mapping ensures your products will be publish in the correct Shopify category.
Step 5 — Understand How Listing Data Becomes Catalog Data
When importing listings, the system converts listing data into Catalog Product Properties.
For example:
eBay Listing Data | Catalog Property |
Listing Title | Product Property / Title |
Images | Product Media |
Price | Product Price |
Item Specifics | Custom Attributes |
This allows the catalog to act as the central product database for all your channels.
Step 6 — Publish the Product to Shopify
Once your products are in the catalog, publishing them to Shopify takes only a few clicks.
You can publish:
From inside the product editor
In bulk for multiple products
To publish in bulk:
Go to Catalog → Products
Select the products
Click Publish to Channel
Then:
Choose your Shopify store (channel)
Select the Mapping Template
Configure optional advanced settings if needed
Click Publish as Live
The system will now create the product in Shopify.
Step 7 — Product Publishing Process
After clicking publish:
The system sends the product to Shopify
The product status will show In Progress
Within a few seconds the listing will be created in Shopify
If everything is correct, the product will be successfully published. You will see both listings linked to the product - eBay and Shopify.
Optional — Understanding Shopify Mapping Templates
Each connected channel automatically gets a default mapping template created.
Mapping templates control how catalog data is sent to the channel.
Example mappings:
Shopify Field | Catalog Source |
Title | Product Property / Title |
Vendor | Product Property / Brand |
Description | Product Property / Description |
Price | Product Property / Price |
For most users, the default template works automatically.
No setup is required.
Advanced (Optional) — Mapping eBay Item Specifics to Shopify Metafields
If you want to send additional item specifics from eBay to Shopify, you can map them as Shopify metafields.
Example: mapping the Card Slot item specific.
Steps:
Go to Catalog → Products Settings → Mapping Templates
Open your Shopify template
Go to Custom Metafields
Click Add New Metafield
Create the metafield (example:
card slot)Map it to the imported eBay attribute
Example mapping:
Custom Attribute / ebay US s i m card slot
You can also set a fallback value to ensure a value is always sent if the attribute is empty.
Example fallback:
Dual SIM (SIM + SIM)
This step is optional and only needed for advanced customization.
