Discontinuing Store Designer - Why and what to do

eBay is discontinuing the classic eBay store, where we will have to say goodbye to the Store Designer as well.

If you are using the "classic" version of eBay Store, it seems eBay will soon require all eBay Store subscribers to use the new version of eBay Store.

Some sellers' stores are being updated automatically, while others are being told (by eBay) that after March 31st, classic stores will not appear on mobile searches.

As we can only customize the classic version, we will have to discontinue the Store Designer when eBay has everyone switched over 😟

If you're currently using Store Designer, we recommend preparing to switch as soon as possible. We are not able to guarantee if this tool will still work for your store.

With appreciation of how much we all loved this tool, it's time to say goodbye 😇

To update to the new version of the eBay Store:

  • visit Manage My Store >> Edit Store on eBay.

  • Then, click the Publish button at the top of your screen:
