How to customize the style of your eBay Store category pages

Note: this method only works for eBay Stores that are reverted to the Classic version

Currently, Store Designer does not offer the ability to customize category pages. However, here's a quick solution to customize the category pages of your Store:


Step 1 - Download Stylebot


Step 2 - View one of your eBay Store categories

  • Go to a Store category page and open the StyleBot plugin


Step 3 - Select and 'Element' to Edit

Note: Each piece of your Webstore is called an 'Element'

  • Click the Select button.

  • Then, click on an element of your Webstore


Step 4 - Edit the styles of your Webstore elements

  • Use Stylebot to edit the appearance of the page:


Step 5 - Copy the code

  • at the bottom of the editor, click the <> Code button.

  • Highlight & copy the code:


Step 6 - Install the code in your eBay Store:

  • Navigate to My eBay > Account > Manage My Store

  • On the left sidebar, choose Display Settings

  • Under Theme and Display, click Change to another theme

  • Click the Easily Customizable theme option in the left sidebar,

  • then select Custom Header Only and save the settings.

  • You will be redirected back to Display Settings.

  • Then, click the Change link on the right of the Store header display section.

  • Select the "Yes, include additional information in the header" option.

  • In the text input, type these two HTML tags, called "style tags"

  • Paste your Stylebot code between the style tags:

After saving, your category pages will display your custom style.
