We are highlighting two options for you to notify your buyers of delays/notices with our software.

  1. Use eBay Helpdesk's Orders page to send an eBay message to your past orders.
If you are not subscribed to CRM & Helpdesk, please reach out to us and we will activate a trial so you can touch base with your buyers.

  2. Use Email Marketing to send a message at purchase, or after shipped.
We recommend sending with eBay Messages to ensure eBay and the buyer see your message.

We'll cover how to do each of these options below:

Option 1: CRM & Helpdesk - Past Orders

A simple starting point for your past order eBay message *template (must use template for dynamic fields below) may be something like:

Hello {buyer_first_name},

Thank you again for purchasing {item_name} from our store!

We just wanted to reach out to let you know the recent events may cause some arrival delays for your product.

If you have any questions, we am here to help!

We thank you for your patience during these times and we hope you enjoy your purchase.

  • On the  Orders page, click Send Message button on the right of an order.

  • In the popup, click the Use Template button and select your template:

Option 2: Email Marketing

A simple starting point for an Email Marketing eBay message (after purchase) may be something like:

Hello {buyer_first_name},

Thank you for purchasing {item_name} from our store!

We'll have your order shipped very soon.
Just so you're aware, the recent impacts of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) may cause some delays in arrival time.

We thank you for your patience during these times and we hope you enjoy your purchase!

If you have any questions, we am here to help.
  • (C) Important! After saving your message, turn off all other messages that both
    1) Send via ebay Messages
    2) AND the send for the same transaction event (shipping/sold) as the message you just created.
