How to Find Listings Fast: Search, Filters & Tags in the Listings Grid

Find listings fast in 3Dsellers using the built-in grid search, column filters, and tags — plus how to save your filters as custom segments for one-click access.

Written by Karolina Santiago

If you're coming from inkFrog and used folders to stay organized, 3Dsellers works differently — and more powerfully. Instead of dragging listings into static folders, you filter and search directly inside the listings grid, then save those views as Segments to jump back to them anytime.

This guide shows you how the grid search works, what you can filter by, and real use cases to get you started.

🔍 How the Grid Search Works

At the top of your Listings & Products page, you'll see a filter row built into the grid itself. For example, you can type directly in the Title column header to search by keyword, or use the 3Dsellers Listing Tags column to filter by tag — no separate search panel needed.

Each column with a filter input also has a funnel icon () next to it. Click it to choose how the filter is applied. The available conditions are:

  • Contains — shows listings where the field includes your keyword

  • Does not contain — excludes listings with that keyword

  • Equals — exact match only

  • Not equals to — excludes exact matches

  • Starts with — matches from the beginning of the field

  • Has value — shows listings where the field is not empty

  • Is empty — shows listings where the field has no value

This makes it easy to do things like find all listings without a SKU (SKU → is empty) or exclude a specific keyword from your results.

As you apply filters, they appear as pills above the grid (e.g., Title contains "Logitech" and Tag one of "restock"). You can stack multiple filters together to narrow results precisely.

To clear filters, click the ✕ on any pill:

or delete directly from the filters applied at the top:

You can also access all available filters at once by clicking the Filters tab on the right edge of the grid. This opens a side panel listing every filterable field — including Category, Price, Profit, Cost, Tags, Design Template, and more — so you can browse and set conditions without needing to locate the specific column first.

And also, each field expands to show its available conditions (e.g., Category supports one of, not one of, is, is not).

🏷️ Filtering by Tags

Tags are labels you assign to listings inside 3Dsellers — they don't affect your eBay listings at all. They're purely for your own organization.

You can add a tag to any listing by clicking the + in the Tags column, or in bulk through the Bulk Actions menu.

Once tagged, you can filter the entire grid to show only listings with that tag.

Example: Tag a group of listings as "clearance" or "restock" (or any label you choose), then filter by that tag to see only those listings in seconds.

💡 Use Cases

1. Find all listings in a specific category or brand Type a keyword in the Title column search — like "Logitech" or "Swimwear" — to instantly surface all matching listings.

2. Find listings missing a price or cost Use the Price or Cost columns to filter and spot listings where values are empty or incorrect — useful for a quick audit before a sale.

3. Find listings by SKU Type in the SKU column to locate a specific listing when you know the SKU but can't remember the title.

4. Review listings by profitability Filter or sort by Profit or Floor Price / Ceiling Price to identify listings where your margins may be off.

5. Find listings that haven't sold recently Use the Last Sale column to surface listings that haven't moved — great for deciding what to reprice or end.

6. Combine Title keyword + Tag for precision Filter Title contains "Swimwear" and Tag = "restock" to zero in on a specific subset across thousands of listings without touching anything else.

7. Find untagged listings Filter by tag with no value selected to find listings you haven't categorized yet — useful when setting up your organization system for the first time.

Note: The columns available in the grid vary depending on which segment you're working in. Active listings show columns like Up to Qty Status, Warehouse Qty, Sold, and Last Sale. Scheduled listings show Schedule Date and Scheduling System. Always check the column selector (the icon at the far right of the grid header) to see and toggle what's available in your current view.

💾 Save Your Filters as a Segment

Once you've set up a filter combination you'll use again, save it as a Custom Segment so it shows up in your left sidebar like a folder.

  1. Apply your filters in the grid

  2. Click Create New Segment in the filter bar

  3. Give it a name and click Save

Your segment appears in the sidebar. Click it anytime to load that filtered view instantly — no re-typing required.

⚡ Quick Tips

  • Tags are free-form — create any label that makes sense for your inventory style

  • Segments are dynamic — they always reflect current listings that match the filter, not a fixed list you have to maintain

  • You can pin segments — keep your most-used ones at the top of the sidebar

  • Filters stack — combine Title, Tags, Qty Status, and more for surgical precision

Coming from inkFrog? The folder mindset maps naturally to Segments in 3Dsellers — with the added advantage that your "folders" update automatically and never need manual sorting.
